Hi I’m a mixed kid of a Moroccan mom and a Canadian dad but I absolutely don’t know how to speak Darija and I want to prove to my mom that I am motivated to learn her language and speak to her in Moroccan so thank you for the lesson !!
I live in Morocco. I find the two phrases I use the most by far are: "Safi" and "Moshie Mushkil". Of course, shookran is up there, but Moroccans have a life attitude of "Ok. Not a problem"
I have moroccan friend so iam learning arabic for her and she is learning hindi for me... Shokran😁 for teaching some phrases of arabic language this helps a lot🙏😊
My husband is Moroccan and he tries to teach me some but he is not patient enough. I would love to be able to speak with his parents some day without his help translating. Chokran bazzaf for the lesson, can't wait for more videos!!!
When I went to Morocco for holiday, people thought I am from Egypt, Sudan, Saudia... I was speaking with them in Arabic which I learned. I am from Somalia and our second language is Arabic.
Moroccan Arabic is the most beautiful arabic language, and you ... guy, congratulations hahaha handsome!! and thank u so much for to teach arabic in your channel!!
This was seriously the most helpful Arabic video I've come across. Not even my Moroccan friends are this patient... so now they are teaching me French 🤣. I can't wait to see your other videos!
Muhammad this is perfect for me. I've arrived in Marrakech with shukran, akel, flus and salaam aleyikum...I need so much more. You model the pronounciation so well - saying it slow so my western ears can get it... And you so it all with such a huge smile! Every Moroccan I've met has been so chilled and positive. It takes a while for this cynical Englishman to adapt.
Thank you Muhammad for the amazing video! I am trying to learn Moroccan to understand a girl that I love better. I would love to see more videos like this.
Great video... I am an MSA linguist... and a Lebanese native speaker... and some words sound like Chinese to me... Love how autobus en Francais became tobus...
I'm from India and I really really love Moroccan Arabic. This really helps! It would be really great if you can teach the pronunciations separately too! Thank you 😊🥰
Salam Alaikom. This is probably the most easiest and thorough darija lesson I've seen on RUclips. Chokran bezaf for sharing. Looking forward to more videos Inchallah. Bslama khouya 😁🙏🏼
Thank you for this video. It would be cool if you could make separate videos for people who want to learn tourism Arabic and for people who want to talk to moroccan friends. Cuz the phrases they'd need are very different. I belong to the latter group and would love to learn phrases like: I'm tired. Are you tired? Me too! Come here! Let's go! Is it good? (talking about food) etc.
Palestinian speaker here, I never realized that not only are some words different but pronunciation and emphasis on certain letters is so different in darija vs sham.
Please keep making videos on Moroccan Arabic . And also please can you make other videos showing the places and people of Morocco. I'm so much inspired by the Moroccan culture and want to get to know it better. Thanks. Love n support from India☺️
How amazing video love it .Hey brother i want to learn the morroccan language from where to start and how i can learn to communicate with the people it would be helpful if you make a video on general discussion like food, marriage, culture, funny sentences , angry sentances, something like that .we need more videos from you but pls explain it in english as well and subtitles in english and translation of morroccan sentences in english like for pronounciation. For example khoya something like that .much love and amazing video

@@anasslebkhaiti7840 I am of Asian descent and speak several languages. I can also confirmed that Asians and Arabic people can speak louder than most races, and it sounds like a shouting match. Especially when the arms are flopping and fingers are being pointed at the person. That's my two cents, whether I am right or not, it is only my opinion.
Dear Muhamed, Salem! I watched your videos a few months prior to my Trip to Morocco in May of 2021. The local people were very impressed with my little phrases. They said I had good pronounciation. Matchi Muski. Thank you so much for your help. Shokran! Allahamdo lillah. Bsalma! I learned that in one sentence to communicate, the people used a mixture of words in Darija with Spanish and French.

Thank you for the great video, Mohamed! I have a question for the phrases which are masculine Vs feminine. Do you mean you pick the right one for the person you say it to? Or it is based on own gender. For example I am man so I should always pick the masculine phrase to say? Or do I say the feminine one if I am speaking to a woman? This is the only thing I am confused about. Thank you!
Hi Jpdesign1, thanks for your comment, you use the Masculine form if you're talking about yourself(assuming you're male) as well as to a male friend next to you, you use the Feminine when you're talking to a female or a bunch of females : )
id love to learn a dialect of arabic but the entire aspect of different letters holds me back. going to tangier soon, just want to know how to say please and thank you
