My boyfriend is from Morocco and he loves it when I say simple things to him in Darija :) He's taught me a lot of words, and I've also learned from watching your RUclips videos as well as Kawtar
@विश्व कट्टर "Ex हिंदू" परिषद् 😎 they do it to make difference, for example in hard h (7) and normal h (just "h"). They choose numbers because they're similar to the letter in Arabic script For example: 7 = ح 3 = ع 9 = ق
@death.to.hindogismthe language was invented by a mathematician, so I understand why and why there are some sounds... But... Some words still make me want to solve for x? 😂
Two things: How do you say, "How do you say......in Darija? Also, how do you say "I'm learning Darija, but I dont speak/know much." or "I'm learning Darija, but I'm just a beginner." I feel like you'd be asking how to say a lot of things you come across while in Morocco, so its incredibly helpful to know how to say "How do you say......in Darija?". Also, if you do know a few words in Darija, and people speak back to you but you don't understand them, it would be helpful to know how to say "I'm learning Darija, but I dont speak/know much." Thank you for the great videos, I find them extremely helpful...Shurkan byzaaaaaafff!

My boyfriend is from Morocco Casablanca... And I'm from Bangladesh.... But you make things easier brother..., 😁...now i can surprise him😅😅with some Morocco word

Good I learned Chinese first, all those sounds are in the Chinese as well, especially if you go up north in china all hao, harbin, hen, hu, hou, huo, zhe er dao,=(I)know … the colder it is the more they use them to unconsciously ask for pitty from the other person, is dialectal based on weather and geography … like saying - is verrrry cold out there … when one is coming inside and brush off the snow and cold and look for pitty from others to warm you with a nice reply, like are you hungry , I got soup, is hen re de, is very hot and emphasize back hen=very to the other person …. Now I am learning a little Moroccan Arabic! And I really like the melody of the language! 😃
thank you for this additional knowledge its very helpful to me because im gonna fly there this august to meet my boyfriend living in Tanger.. Shukran bezaf♥️
Me also my boyfriend also is a morrocan but i undertand what he is saying but i cannot speak clearly.. Hope u always teach how to speak morocan.. Thank u he is also mohamed his name😊
My favourite teacher of Moroccan Arabic. Thank you for repeating slowly phrases, esp. the most difficult sounds in Arabic coz it is very difficult to articulate them at the beginning. I'm looking forward to see more videos of yours coz I love your spelling n sense of humour. :)
I loved the explanation of the cryptic number system, and I mean all of the romantic stuff is great, but I'm a bit worried about freaking her out with it.
Hi @t355, looks like you're going through a tough time with the marriage papers... anyways, you can say "Ma3amri nt5alla 3lik" "ماعمري نتخلى عليك" Did the Arabic script help?
I've been using most of these phrases for quite a few years now - I've been living in Morocco since 2014. Its not been easy to learn darija - mu husband speaks my language, my in-laws speak Spanish, I use English at work.. But I think I'm finally getting there :) Btw in Tetouan we speak a bit differently 😂 e.g kanbghik instead of tanbghik ;) but I still find your videos quite useful ;) shukran!

Hi Masksim, thanks for your comment, it's the opposite, it'll take you around 4 to 5 years to learn Modern standard Arabic and then transitionning to Moroccan Arabic, learning the dailect is quicker (around 6 months to a year).
I see that u say alot of stuff like “TANmout” but can i say the “TAN” as “KAN”? would be pronounced as kanmout 3lik i’m not used to saying tan in my household we all say it with a “K”
Hi Obay, good question, using Kan and Tan depends on the geographic location you're in Morocco, people in Casa tends to use Kan a lot, where as people in Marrakesh use Tan instead, so there is not really a big difference between them, you can use the easiest one for you to pronounce brother : )
