    It's interesting!
    In Lithuania we say 'Labas' for hello. And in Morocco you say it for 'how are you? Good'.
    And lithuanian is one of the oldest still existing languages. Maybe our languages have the same roots. Also in darija you use word Daba for Now. And in lithuanian it is Dabar. I believe there's more similar words. That's just crazy for me 😂

Also, as I am writing in Arabic, please can you include the Arabic version of what you say, it will help me to see the words and memorize them better. I try google translate but they only translate in Modern Standard Arabic, not Darija. Salem!

    i'v noticed that morrocan people speak as fast as they can, if speaking was an olimpic sport morrocos would always come home with the a gold medal 😂 i hope that they slow down for foreigns that are trying to speak their language as best as they can otherwise would be scary to try it and end by giving it up and speak english with them 🤷‍♀

    the transliteration is unnecessarily complicated.
    We've got enough on our plates just learning a foreign language, why make it harder by using a technical phonetic script when ordinary English would do?
    Is it to impress us?
    It's a distraction.
    Other than that, very good. Well done !

    • @MohamedteachesArabic
      @MohamedteachesArabic  2 года назад

      Hi dextoxbvigilant52, I realized a lot of people are having a hard time understanding the Arabic script, so I figured I might include the Arabic romanization cause I think that's would be helpful!

    • @detoxbvigilant52
      @detoxbvigilant52 2 года назад

      Thank you Brother Mohammed for taking the time to reply to my comment.
      However, I think you misunderstood my point.
      Romanizing or transliterating the Darija text is a very good idea.
      My concern is that you have used a technical transliteration style that only linguists will understand and I think this might put some people off.
      Even if it doesn't put people off, it adds to the burden of learning the language.
      Ordinary letters of the English alphabet would have been sufficient to convey the essence of the pronunciation.
      Thanks again and keep up the good work !
      B'Salama

    • @MohamedteachesArabic
      @MohamedteachesArabic  2 года назад

      @@detoxbvigilant52 I think you're talking about the numbers in the Arabic words if I'm not wrong, there are some Arabic sounds that do not exist in the English/French or the latin languages, in Morocco, people use the numbers for those certain sounds to when writing in the Moroccan Arabic romanization.
