They are a blast. Look up clear hockey tape. Its really good for sealing the lid and easy to remove as well. Has that same rubbery feel.

Very nice boat! But flat water can be boring. Try the rapids with a Streamline RC "Thrasher" jet boat and you'll be impressed.

I still think the Feilum FT011 is a better buy.... You guys sold me on it with the review. I'm a large scale Heli flyer and super mod RC truck driver. Was fun to get into a rc boat for pennies on the dollar wife runs the dogs at the local park, I run the boat to kill time. I do have some cons though on the FT011 that I'll post on your review of the boat. Over 100 runs on the ship, just 1 con....

I think the performance of this boat lived up to its higher price point. When paying that amount of money, it is nice to see that this boat can take some hits without being damaged. Based on this episode, the Atomik Barbwire XL 2 earned its title from TheRCSaylors as "the BEST RTR Boat that Money can buy of 2019!"

I just got a boat yesterday from harbor freight. Its a Dual motor boat that costs about $50 give or take. Hopefully I can get to the river to try it out. But it's pretty big, I got ont a couple of weeks ago it cost the same $ but its alot smaller. Maybe we'll race them😉

Honestly I think Atomik could have done better, I still have the version 1 and all I did was change the motor and ESC put a correct size breather tube inline does 48+mph same with the smaller Atomik barbwire with a mini quad 2208 race motor which only cost me 14 bucks and a 30 amp ESC that only cost me 11 bucks and it's getting close to 50 plus miles an hour. You'd be impressed Nate I actually have it on my RUclips channel. With that being said I hope they sell the canopy and hull separate because I love the looks of it install my own Electronics. You got to check out my Atomik barbwire XL video and my Atomik barbwire 17 in video mind blown 😬🇺🇲 MERICA 🇺🇲 EF Yeah! 🤣

Great boat video guy your the best; on a different subject I saw a drone add today it was mdl blade 720 for under $100.00 dollars. I'm still looking at getting a drone and the person that was talking about this used to work for another company but quit because of the price and low quality of the drones being sold by this company.
So he started his own and they are said to be very user-friendly.

$300 on Amazon for a boat that can only go 25mph... I got a Feilun FT011 on banggood for about half the price and that boat can go 35mph... also a brushless motor by the way..

Great Video about a great boat. After watching your video and a few others on this boat I tried to buy it but seems like it's not available in Germany. What a pity since I have a nice calm lake only a few minutes away from our house.

Abbey crashed a drone into Nate's in the middle of the air, destroying both of them😖... then she runs into an underwater tree... TWICE😖! I wouldn't pass my controller over to her. 😩

Omg woman.... 5 sec last long. 0 QI, hit the only objective and run the boat 200 meters from camera. Then she hit tree again xD. Even a 4 yo kid do worste
When you gave her the controls, and within 5 seconds she runs it full blast, into a stump, it made me angry again at my EX. What is it with girls? They are the same the world over for that kind of thing. If they pay for it themselves they drive at two miles an hour. But if you paid, they full blast it into a brick wall everytime. Sorry had to thumbs down, you hurt my stomach.

I have the xl 1 lol but it has new parts because the controller and charger was trash and the esc caught on fire and had to get a new esc but currently it works great , was my first rc vehicle and was awesome now im into cars and boats i did upgrade to traxxas m41 but i did use both of then earlier today and it was great went through 6 sets of batteries with no problems…. Amazing

Alot slower than my Traxxas spartan RTR... and it doesnt need the water flip feature as it has the power to flip it over, which shows this is abit low on power. Thos 25mph isnt alot compared to the 50mph on the spartan

Just bought this boat it's awesome, only comment I can ad is if the battery pulls away from it's strap and velcro the boat will no longer self right. It doesn't eat batteries either they come out warm but not hot like some other do.
You can run them out of the water. It doesn't hurt them a bit. The only reason it needs to be in water is for water cooling. Doesn't hurt to run it out of the water. He'll some people even run thier boats thru snow and it doesn't hurt them.
