Pro Boat Zelos twin catamaran runs over 60 mph stock out of the box. It runs two 6s lipo’s .I’ve seen some videos of Zelos with aftermarket prop modifications that are hitting 80 mph.
That's an amazing out of the box machine, looks to be set up perfect. Best part of this video tho has to be Nate's maniacal giggling over the power of the boat.. I would be too! I'd give anything to get my hands on one!

Wow, that looks so much fun! That's amazing that an RC boat can do that. The design looks cool too. The toys these days are incredible. Not that I am knocking my Action Man tank. One thing I really like about RC is how it encourages you to get outside.
Yep, definitely want a boat more after watching videos in the last 2 days... One like this would be very cool, but I think I will start with something smaller and more "beginner" ...also more budget conscious. The ones I am looking at are the Blackjack 24, or River Jet boat... although the river jet is out of stock right now along with many of its parts... The next step up would be the self righting Sonicwake...above that is the Impulse. The Impulse is fiberglass, and has what seems to be better electronics, bit doesn't have the self righting feature... I am torn as to which to start with... any thoughts? Kinda leaning toward Sonicwake for the 1st boat... as it sits somewhere in the middle and has the self righting feature. Cheers ..

Great video! Adjust the strut prop angle and add trim tabs to keep the bow down a little. Grease the flex cable and move the batteries forward if possible. She runs fast but a little loose. If the wind and chop are up, that boat is flip happy.

This boat is awesome! Correct me if I’m wrong but looking at this boat’s tiny prop, wouldn’t it go faster with a larger prop? I’ve never dealt with boats before but it seems like that would really help.
It would put to much load on the brush less motor causing extra heat The motors RPM is absolutely massive the prop is specked to the motor plus weight of boat to hit maximum RPM. Bigger prop wouldn't hit max rpm causing inefficiencies like battery drain ect.
Nice! When you guys pair batteries in series, do you get a spark when plugging them in? Just testing a big Corsair, and the spark actually burned the XT90! Just wondering if that’s common.
Looks awesome but as a non full time boat guy, $600 is out of my budget for an rc boat. Budget boat week has some boats that are just as fun for less than 200 and even some less than 100. This is for the serious boaters.

That's a great boat. It reminds me of when I was a teenager my dad used to bring me down to the Ottawa River where they used to run Hydroplane boat races. The real ones are as lout as F-1 cars! And some have bigger engines, I believe.

I have a Blackjack 29 and I love it. The old owner changed props and I'm bustin 50+ on 4s. I have yet to try 6 s on it, because it's crazy on 4s.

That's normal,you can get anti spark XT90 plugs they have a green mark on them.

At full throttle we can't keep it down either! It's like a parachute in the wind, but if you get it on a calm day it's AMAZING isn't it!? 💯👍😁😎⚓
