Bill and Fred have to be one the most funny, amazingly talented duos on snl
And they continue that comedy team on most episodes of Documentary Now. Their Blue Jean Committee episode is incredible. Armisen is just as good a musician as he is a comedian. And Hader just rocks. Funniest SNL performer since Phil Hartman the gold standard.

This trio of Armisen, Hader, and Forte is comedy gold- this was one of the last great comedic periods for SNL when they were all on together.
Fred Armisen is the greatest SNL member to ever appear on this show. He is HUGELY versatile, and never hogs or trolls scenes. He can play the front funny man, or the back. I will say the guy who plays McGrubber and the other guy playing the Russian take equal second place. The three of these guys with Adam Sandburg make the best cast ever (as far as men cast are concerned).

As a russian speaker I can confirm they are not speaking in russian they just pronunce nonsense letters with accent, except when Svetlana said "spasibo" in russian that means "thank you" and Katya said "nyet" it means "no" :)
