What's your favourite remix tip?
Trying to wrap my head around the B section chord progression of the remix- Fm9-Gbm9-Ebm9-Bmin9. I can understand the progression through the Ebm chord and it's pleasing to the ear. I'm stuck on the Bm chord. With the way you are voicing the chord with the silky E-piano, it sounds vibey. But musically, I'm confused why this works. Thank you for the quick video!
Are you thinking about it diatonically, i.e.'within a key'? Essentially, you can beg, borrow and steal chords from other keys if it sounds good.
@@pointblankmusicschool Yes, in terms of modulation, how did you think to arrive on Bmin? Or was it just random and sounded nice?
@@oobesan We'd have to ask Risa herself for a conclusive answer.
Great setup but don't you think that this big chain can "disturb" the low end frequencies? I have a Prism Titan and it seems that a 808 always have bigger lower ends when running straight to the conversion... What do you think?
