remember stronger clutch spring when u stretch out the legs on these engines cheap and noticeable upgrade nice work
What would happen if you put a bigger rear and bigger front?
would be interesting to see if the cdi makes a difference now?
i had 140cc yx engine 26mm carb 10+12" wheels that ran 108kmh(67mph) under me 90kg driver, sprockets were 17-32 if i remember correctly, using right sized exhaust pipe is also very important, if u have original pipe u could use little bit bigger,
Brother your giving me ideas😂
Wicked man if you also went up in carb size you’d pick up afew more mph top speed not sure about getting to 70mph but I’m sure it’s achievable with head work also highly recommend using a rim lock will save you tubes
Yeah the next step would be a carb. What carb size and brad do you think I should go with. I always stuck to oem mikuni on all my bikes
@@slavsquad what size do you have now? Personally I think a 26-28 and maybe a 30mm would work awesome as for the brand my 28 and 33mm are genuine keihin buy all the rest I use are Chinese copy’s and tbh never had a problem I know guys over there that use nibbi and swear by them for the price it worth having a try
@@Jazsft mines just a factory 22mm mikuni carb that’s comes with the engine.
I’ve never had issues with them but it’s gotta be restricting some power if others are running much bigger sizes.
I’ll look into maybe a 28mm and see what it’s all about.
@Jack Song I think you’d be surprised what a tb v2 head and a pe28 would do for a 140 and with a z40 being a slightly larger cam I believe it would give you better top end over a tb300
@@slavsquad 28 is for 125 to 150cc, 30mm is for 150-200cc, go 30mm trust me!
Yes g
Nicee can u make a tutorial how to shift correctly on a semi auto would be awesome 💯‼️💣💣 like when to let up the gas and give gas while shifting it lol 💯👏🏾
I don’t have any bikes that are semi auto but maybe I’ll do a tutorial with a regular clutch bike. It’s all the same when it comes to shifting. Only difference is one uses a clutch lever and one doesn’t
@@slavsquad that would be cool 💣💯‼️
I have a 140cc rfz apollo I only did my front sprocket n I hit 58
How do you tighten the rear sprocket bolts it has that plate thing around the screw heads
You gotta bend those flush with the sprocket. Then bend then back once you tighten the bolt back up when putting new one on. That’s there to keep the bolt from coming loose
nice bike man, had a Lifan 125 back when I was a lil teenager and didn't know how to take care of stuff hahaha. Now I'd like to get back into pits and I'm thinking YX 140 this time around. Just had one quick question, where'd you get those plastics for it and what other bikes do they fit (for cross reference)? Anyways, thanks, keep it up.
Haha I was the same. Now I’ve been taking care of my bikes and making them to
My taste. The plastics are just regular white plastics off eBay and I throw in my own taste in stickers from past parts I purchased
They fit a lot of pit bikes. You just have to look at the plastics shape.
Most bikes that come factory 110cc-125cc have that style plastics. Then 150cc -170cc have a klx 110 style plastics.
@@slavsquad got it thanks!
@@FBisBlisscrf 50, or 70 plastics fits this frame
Still get up pretty good with this set up or would a 17-41 be better?
It still have plenty of power to go. And still very fast. You do lose a little torque so picking up a wheelie is a bit harder but still plenty doable
You defiantly feel a ton more gear. Feels like you gain a 5th gear
Hi, is this sprocket a 17mm or 20mm?
17mm
should i get 17 t and 33t on a ssr 110?
Depends what your looking for and what kind of riding you do. You’ll gain more top end/higher mph but you’ll lose alot of torque especially on a 110.
Iv got a yx140 and when I ride it it’s is really choppy with the throttle and idk what to do about it
Clean carb, take jets out air blast them out with something make sure they are clean, if not could be your valves
Hey I sell a 28mm powerjet carb plus a portmatched intake for the 140cc motor if your interested, it's a little pricey because I have to make the manifold but it gave me a noticeable increase having 3 jets to tune instead of 2, plus converting to a semi flat slide carb will aid in throttle response
If u change the front sprocket do u have to change the rear one?
nope
I have mine 10t F and 39t R I hit 30mph real quick but lack top speed on my 125 rfz
Yeah that tiny 10t gear will make that thing have some nice torque and bottom end but lacks tops end. I want that perfect balance of long gearing and nice torque lol
@@slavsquad yeah I'm also trying to find the sweet spot I just ordered from amazon a 17t a 13t and 14t and also a 12t I'm going to try them all out and post a video
@@Angry-Little-Fish that’s awesome! Good way to find the right gear ratio
@@Angry-Little-Fishwhich one was best for the 125?!
@@tylershepard315 15 is in the middle 17 slow but high speed 13 more acceleration no top end 12 fast but top out at 30mph but quick as duck
Would a 14t front and 35 back do anything ?
If you want top speed to increase go 17 front 35 rear.
Bigger front sprocket and smaller rear. It will reduce your torque by a little so your compromising the low end a bit but not to much
14 front and 35 rear is around 55mph. My monkey bike had those.. I went to a 18t front and kept the 35 rear and it hit 68mph. Would cruise nice at 50
Racing Cdi box
Change your cdi box
If you put a 28mm back sprocket it will go like 70mph actually
I just don’t want to loose all my torque if I put even smaller sprocket
@@slavsquad yeah but if you want it to go faster
@@Pallokarv4 yeah I’ll keep it in mind. Maybe for the 190cc build will see
@@slavsquad 190 daytona??
@@Pallokarv4 it’s a piranha 190 but I believe it’s pretty much the same thing
Is that New Mexico?
It’s the PNW
