  • In today's video we'll discuss what it's like having an addictive personality.
This personality type can be a beautiful gift or life ruining curse. It really depends on how you channel the energy. Sometimes we can use the addictive traits of our personality to get incredible things done.
Steve Jobs once said you have to have more than passion. It has to become an obsession and that's exactly what addictive personalities excel at.
Signs of addictive personality include going overboard or 110% at whatever it is you do. It's definitely not a disorder even though some negative people believe it to be.
The truth is an addictive personality type will probably have very difficult moments in life. However if we can overcome that adversity we become stronger and grow from our low points to reach even higher points than others could achieve.
There's a famous millionaire from Shark Tank and she says, I want to find someone who's been through their worst so they know what they're fighting for.
I know stopping smoking and giving up bad habits has been the hardest battle for me. Now that I'm sober I feel I overcame death and am so hard working and driven to succeed in whatever I do. I've literally become addicted to working and the happiness it brings of seeing progress being achieved.
Are you quitting alcohol or wanting to stop smoking? Chances are you're at your lowest. Once you overcome your battle a stronger, tempered you will be ready to destroy everything which held you back before!
Just remember addiction and the brain are deep set. So addictive personality traits never go away. I'm fine with that and can't change it, but I can wield the power it gives to become addicted to the right things and I encourage you to do the same!
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. I really appreciate you and would like to know more about you. Please leave a comment letting me know how you're doing in your journey!!

I love this idea of channeling our addictive personality to crave positive habits. Also, changing our environment is key to lasting change. Great video!

The guy hes talkin about was a heroin addict. Def true. Im in a self regret mode rn considering I had alot going for me before I started all the crap i smoked. It is odd after I stop it seems like I go back to sober ages. Its been on and off..

Sure thing man! You can email me at dallasman185@gmail,com. It's been 38 days now. Pretty crazy to think knowing I was hooked daily for eight years and only ever took a 10 day break when I failed at quitting. It's def not an easy battle but moving away from where I was at to a new environment changed everything for me!

That's a great idea Razvan, as we grow it's def an idea to act out on. For now I have kept recommending "Leaves", it's on reddit, com and is a group of people quitting with over 100k members. It's been my go-to for sharing, providing positivity and receiving support. I really recommend checking it out, and in time we'll most def have a discord my friend :)
