After watching this video I realized it was just a detailed presentation of romantic life, or lack there of. Been rejected a few times, a few crushes confide within me about their crushes, I'm always initiating. @@Power-in8mc He was a good friend to me, he was there for me when I needed him, he took interest in my interests, and he showed me he had a good heart(I am also demi, which means I need to form a strong connection before romantic feelings can develop, and he had become my best friend). Obviously, it's not going to be the same for everyone. Honestly, the best thing that you can do is be a good friend. Be their friend and be there for them because you want to, and not because you want them to develop feelings for you. Be supportive of them and show them that you care. Feelings might also not develop on their end, and that's okay. It should bring you joy just to see them happy. Being a good friend is your best chance, but also you get to have a meaningful friendship, which can be just as wonderful, even if they don't develop romantic feelings.
(And in case anyone was curious, he had actually given up on me ever falling in love with him by the point that I did, so it took him by surprise when it happened.)

Friendzone isent bad but when you are in love with someone its really hard to just be friends, everytime you hear them talking about other romantic interests in their life it feels like you are being stabbed in your heart. Best thing you can do is stay away from them and find someone new that actually do like you in a romantic way over wasting time on someone that dosent. I do agree however if your feelings arent super strong for them then yea staying as friends wouldent be so bad, maybe they would even eventually get jelous on you and want you instead.
I think the Friendzone is just an excuse that people use as a way to explain their rejection. Like this video pointed out early communication about your feelings is the key that can either make or break a relationship.

have a crush on someone after being friends for couple of years, it pretty much hit all the signs, almost 100% im the one iniating, offering help, mostly hang out with group of friends and it feels awkward like giving a goodbye hug. Deep down I knew that all she sees in me is just a friend. I still very much appreciate of the friendship we have, now still trying to get over my romantic feelings on her. It may seem like it will take forever to get over my feelings but I hope it will be soon.
