Thank you for this video. Now I'd like to speak for people like me who may find it hard to exhibit typical signs. See, unfortunately some of us may not be able to smile at you despite constantly making an eye contact. All because of different aspects - humiliation traumas in the past, not thinking we're attractive, the general lack of trust to people due to traumas. I remember a situation a year ago when a very pretty girl kept staring at me at the outdoor gym and I was frightened to notice that I couldn't even force myself to smile. Not because I didn't like her, but because of all previously listed reasons. I had just started exiting my solitude shell and couldn't believe I was any attractive, so it took me a couple of days to even defeat the doubt that she could like me. Heck, I had even decided to start going to that gym thinking I needed to compensate my "appearance flaws" by having a good physique. This story did not have a happy end, but it sure as heck taught me some valuable lessons which motivated me to socialize more actively.
I don’t mean to be annoying but for a lot of neurodivergents (myself included) we do a few of these with little to no meaning behind them. Things like mirroring or tone matching being a way to mask. remembering small details is something that a lot of us do platonically for our friends because we want the best for them. The closeness thing can also just be something that we do unconsciously, it’s just kinda natural. Now I’m not speaking for every neurodivergent person but I’m just putting out stuff I know from my own experiences as well as a few others. Anyhow, have a wonderful day :]

Lots need to be learned in order to be able to properly read, through both books / shared experiences and direct experiences, but it's doable. And usually, feelings coming from very, very deep and which are hardly relatable with your past experiences, traumas or "over-thinking" ((translation missing, sorry)), those feelings know better! Just consider them, because you might have unconsciously caught green or red flags

Every one is different, but for me personally, I try not to look at my crush's eyes. I don't know exactly why, but when i see the one boy that I have a HUGE crush on, I try to get away as fast as possible. I think it's because I want to advoid embarrassing myself. I am trying to get more confident with the other boys i like, tho.

The other one is to know deeply that they love you in all of your imperfections, that you can be yourself 100% around them and that, in a way, you can do no wrong anymore. Same i havent felt love or had a crush since 2019. had a crush on this girl since 2015 then i finally got over her in 2019. I am a very physically affectionate person and almost can't survive without hugs. So any chance I get to touch a guy I like, I am absolutely going for it. Laying head on shoulder, holding hands, hand on knee... anything I can get. 2. I make sacrifices to see my crush. Much like economics... there's an opportunity cost though. For example, my crush (now bf 😊) plays baritone in band and I play flute. This means we sit on opposite sides of the room. So when Mr. Cox was done teaching a sneakily ran back to him so I can talk to him. My sacrifice here was Cox making me do 25 push ups and embarrassing me infront 150 people... 3. Taking pictures of our memories together. I did this yesterday with him because we were both wearing a green shirt so we got a cute little picture together. Any questions lmk
Just know this. You're still young to enjoy your middle school and High school years. Don't stress about not being able to have a gf right now. Chance are, your time has not come yet, and according to your age, you're just reached your teenage years. I was in your shoes when I was your age. Only time will tell, it's probably not the best idea to think about dating until you're at least 16. So just continue being the good kid you are. Focus on your studies, and if a girl decides to be friends with you, don't hesitate to accept.

i have crush in gym . i don't really notice her until she keep staying at treadmil in the same place like i do (literally beside me , i dont think she want to be close with me, it just her normal treadmil got moved position to somewhere else) . idk if i just paranoid, but i always seeing her looking at me but when i look at her back, she look away so fast . i go to gym after work days and saturday afternoon (i only take off on sunday), and almost always meet her, i always running like crazy that keep almost 2 hours, and she doing the same although she's only walking incline . i tried a move once towards her, idk if she don't interested or she just nervous . the second attempt . i ask her about the treadmil she's smiling, then almost half hour she lost control in treadmil , fell but held on treadmil (its literally the first time i saw her like that ). and about the 2nd (mirroring) .its really strange to what happen to us because what are we do really synced like drinking , fixing hair / clothes , glancing , even when i ask something to her , she almost said the same thing . even quite often our outfit color is same.. its too often for a coincidence , i never believe about the "red thread" thing . when i realize that, i really nervous towards her now..

I don’t mean to be annoying but for a lot of neurodivergents (myself included) we do a few of these with little to no meaning behind them. Things like mirroring or tone matching being a way to mask. remembering small details is something that a lot of us do platonically for our friends because we want the best for them. The closeness thing can also just be something that we do unconsciously, it’s just kinda natural. Now I’m not speaking for every neurodivergent person but I’m just putting out stuff I know from my own experiences as well as a few others. Anyhow, have a wonderful day :]

The other one is to know deeply that they love you in all of your imperfections, that you can be yourself 100% around them and that, in a way, you can do no wrong anymore. Here's some things I do with someone if I like them and it might help you notice when girls like you.
1. Physically close. I am a very physically affectionate person and almost can't survive without hugs. So any chance I get to touch a guy I like, I am absolutely going for it. Laying head on shoulder, holding hands, hand on knee... anything I can get.
2. I make sacrifices to see my crush. Much like economics... there's an opportunity cost though. For example, my crush (now bf 😊) plays baritone in band and I play flute. This means we sit on opposite sides of the room. So when Mr. Cox was done teaching a sneakily ran back to him so I can talk to him. My sacrifice here was Cox making me do 25 push ups and embarrassing me infront 150 people...
3. Taking pictures of our memories together. I did this yesterday with him because we were both wearing a green shirt so we got a cute little picture together.

Just know this. You're still young to enjoy your middle school and High school years. Don't stress about not being able to have a gf right now. Chance are, your time has not come yet, and according to your age, you're just reached your teenage years. I was in your shoes when I was your age. Only time will tell, it's probably not the best idea to think about dating until you're at least 16. So just continue being the good kid you are. Focus on your studies, and if a girl decides to be friends with you, don't hesitate to accept.

Question: In the aftermath of asking the crush directly end with rejection, how can one deal with such rejection?
I recently confessed my feelings to a guy and mentally prepared myself for rejection, my arguments were:
- I did it for myself first of all. If you have feelings for a person and they are so important to you that you want to take the first move, then this is really important for YOU. And no joke, when you express your feelings that have tormented you for a long time, this takes a huge burden off you, it breathes easier.
- It's normal to worry about rejection because we are social beings and it's important for us to think about how people think of us. But it is equally important to understand that you are a whole person, and no one can destroy your value and self-confidence, you will remain the same cool dude even if there is a rejection. It's just not your partner, that's all.
- Probably not very optimistic, but realistic advice, I resigned myself to the fact that after my confession I could lose friendship and communication with my crush at all. I thought of some things that I can keep myself busy with for a while if I lose this person, thought of friends that I can spend time with to understand that there are still other nice things in life.
- If you have a fear that you will bring inconvenience to your crush, then forget it, there is nothing wrong to confess to another person, in the end, they will have positive memories that they can be loved by others, and by your action you are able to influence a person's life in a positive way.
- And MOST IMPORTANT, if you have found the strength to confess, then you have balls of steel! Focus on this thought, not every human being has such an experience, and if you did this, you are an incredibly strong and courageous person. Be proud of yourself!

Don't take it personally. And if you do take it personally look at some traits that you have that may make you less desirable and work on it. There's a fine line between criticizing yourself and beating yourself up. Don't get too worked up over it and keep in mind that you are not supposed to get a yes every time. A way to avoid even feeling the impact of rejection is to not fixate on that one person so there's not so much pressure on whether they say yes or no, but that's easier said than done

Hard to tell ngl, I had a situation with some classmate WAY OLDER THAN ME (1 year later and it would be like dating a minor), he was a nice guy and all but it was similar to your experience, I had other friend, somehow we understood each other and had a great time, and this first dude had to come along and make everything awkward. So yeah, he probably likes you, OR just likes your vibes, like I said, hard to tell.

OMG i feel pity for you ngl. But I'd say, he doesn't want you get closer to his friends more than him it seems. And probably doesn't want you to think that he likes you back but tries to not make it obvious by shipping you with others...lol sorry for giving you hope but that's what it seems to me.

My crush shows signs 1, 2 and 3. We're teammates at work and even sit next to each other in office. At times, she will take an opportunity to get closer to me too, but there's been no touching yet. I feel like I can't act on my feelings though, because not only are we colleagues on the same team, my manager has also hinted that she prefers to keep work and personal life separate.
It feels like the best option is for one of us to leave the team, so that we can ask each other out. So I'm patiently applying to jobs inside and outside of my employers, hoping to be successful.
