It may be good with copper statues, starting with the primer and overbrush the copper or brass colour. The remaining blue acts as verdigris.

They're working on adding Europe and US distribution behind the scenes, but I think it's still just UK right now

Its a uk based company and so is the kickstarter. Dont bother supporting it if your outside the UK.... i think this should have been stated in the video...
This would be so much fun as a base for Idoneth. Having the blue tint to everything would really push that "underwater" feel. Maybe contrast that with rusty metal and lots of colourful coral and shells on the bases for a real "tropical shipwreck" look.

Halfords may not be the cheapest option any longer, but trust me there are loads of other cheap spray paints that work just fine.

I'm glad you used a Nighthaunt model as a demo piece, since those models were one of the first applications I thought of for this primer.

Midwinter your the reason i started painting Warhammer from seeing your how to start painting videos
Do a comparison vid, of how different these (same) models look using the same paint scheme, but using the different primers, then we get a taste of this new edge/feel/emotion you are bringing to the table (top).

I think there's an Eldar Scheme that this primer would ne beautiful for - Mymeara. The green blend with the ghoul would also work perfectly for painting up a few of those guys.

Colour Forge or Citadel are my go to even when halfords and B&Q primers were cheaper. They just always gave me better coverage and texture after drying.
I genuinely can't wait to get this primer. I have an ice themed Tyranid army so this would be perfect!

Midwinter Ice is GREAT as a basecoat for Nighthaunt. Drybrush up to ulthuan grey and then a spot highlight of white, and a coat of black Templar contrast over the top cloak afterwards and BAM. That's a done ghost!

Very nice color…Might be an option for Grey Knights?! I‘m painting a Kill Team right now and i can imagine it would look nice, if the ice shines through two thin coats of a bright silver…
Really nice! Could see that color scheme on the SM working well for Eldar.
I'd like to test the primer on some gundam armor, it could be a nice undercoat for a cool white with some slightly blueish shading.

Well, you made it. I can’t think of many other creators that have a color dedicated to themselves. This would make Seraphon a breeze to paint! And that cooler ork really shows some amazing potential.

Whenever I see speed painting tutorials, I ALWAYS think it would look better with a blue toned primer rather than over a simple greytone. Glad that you've thought of that too :)
That colour would be fantastic for Tau.
This might be useful for some Frostgrave terrain. Pure blue for the icy or stone bits, and as the base layer of "slap chop" for all the other colors. Would really underscore the cold nature of the city.

I think that it would be an effective choice for someone wanting to do a kind of coloured lighting effect.
If the model is primed all over in a darker, warm colour (say, Orange, or brown, or black, or possibly a deep red) then the spray is used over the top to represent either a zenithal or directional light source, then maybe a dry brush of white, you could do something like you demonstrated on the Ork but with more dramatic lighting.
Would be really good for something that you want to read as being in a cold environment.

This is the PERFECT colour for my Tyranid Army! I've been priming them with wraithbone and then painting/airbrushing them this colour for years! Can't wait to pick up a few cans!
I would love to do Emperor's Spears with this paint. The official scheme is a more traditional blue, but I think this would be a nice twist on the scheme

Oh my god. This is the perfect primer for my super neon T’au that I’m planning. That gene stealer is basically what I picture in my head.
Perfect for base coating frozen ice bases, and monsters like trogoths, ice trolls, etc. great for sylvaneth too.
I thought the colour looked a bit bold to have a general application but the nighthaunt ghost and genestealer looked AMAZING!

I started 40k in early high-school, but my parent's didn't want to siphon funds to the most expensive hobby ever. Midwinter Mini's being super laid back and approachable got me excited to try my hand at the hobby as an adult with disposable income, and it's really opened a new creative outlet that's made a world of difference in my life.
So a million thankyou's Guy, Hatty and everyone else on the Midwinter mini's team!

That's bright enough you could probably get some great greens w/ a yellow wash instead of your bluish one.

I saw the test model painted with it at UKGE today and it's a gorgeous colour.
