Hands down, zhu li and varrick is the best lovestory in any movie or series. You just can't feel anything different than happiness for them at the engagement.

varrick is actually my favorite character in the show, he actually goes through a hero's journey.....in his own way, but he does and im so happy they end up together. its the best love story ever.

Explanation - Its Varrick, and I guess farming snow or something that doesn't need grass? I have to admit, Varrick is literally the best character in this series, Season 2 was the best because he was basically the centre of the story, for get Unalaq, the mastermind was Varrick.
I feel like when she betrayed Varrick, her speech held a sliver of truth. Maybe she lied to Kuvier about why she worked for Verrick, but I feel like she was upset he never appreciated her. Since you can see how when he blames her for their loss, she genuinely is upset. I also feel like Verrick is just used to treating people like they're below him, so he just didn't know how to treat her at any point. I feel like know though, he understands things better. You can just tell by the fact that he uses her name for a battle ship, verbs, and frickin wight measurements.
Zhu Li’s character development is so fun to watch. Her transforming from a background character to and actually important element to the plot with her own personality and storyline was so rewarding

Tabusca Radu If you watch the TV Series, and read the Comics and Books, and think about their situation and psychology, Anakin and Padme make a lot of sense. Of course just based on the movies alone it still wouldn’t take much to argue for their relationship and love, but the Comics and Novels and TV Series do seal the deal.
This was honestly the best thought out relationship in this show to be honest. I felt this was far more interesting than any other couples story in this show.

Did anybody else notice that at their wedding, the band that played for them was Hasook, The two fired detectives from the police force that laughed at Mako, Tahno, Ming, Shaozu (Wolfbats), and Tarrlok’s former assistant? I love that the people who disappeared just decided to come together and start a band 😭💀💀
I love Bolin as a character, but I think after they set him up with Opal in Season 3, it wouldn't have made sense to revert back to Korra. Mako on the other hand remained open-ended till the end, so I was hoping him to maybe reunite with Korra.
dbzcupcake i think its always been there. its very much "You don't what you got till its gone" on Varrick's end, he doesn't realize just how integral Zhu Li is to his life until she leaves him, which coincides with him growing a conscience as the series goes on.
I think they fell in love before we get to see this. If we were to see a part of their backstory and how they became partners and how she became his asssitant. We would most likely be see them falling for each other

Good compilation but I think that the music overpowered the dialogue of the characters. Maybe if you toned down the music and let it roll only during the in between black parts of this video, it would have been much better. Still thanks for making the video!
It's on purpose. Since Avatar tries to mix real world cultures such as the West and East dichotomy, many names are meant to sound both English and Chinese (for instance) - so you get things like Zhu Li "Julie"
I like Korrasami too, but they could have teased it a bit earlier. It felt kind of forced at the end. It would have been so much better and natural if they already started showing us hints of romantic feelings between Korra and Asami from Season 2 onward.
Sure would love to see more of these two adjusting to now being husband and wife. Am sure it isn't that easy to disregard potential years of having worked together, not to mention minor things either needs to work on(Zhu Li a bit more assertiveness with her husband and Varrick to think about the feelings of his wife). But generally, love this couple, they're sweet and seem to really work out due to their complimentary personalities. They have my blessings.
