EDIT: It Actually works in modern rigs, keep scrolling down till you see cockman official, he explains in his comment how to install the gog release in order for it to work. Keep in mind tho, its has issues. This issues can be fixable or impossible to fix depending on your rig apparently. In my case they were unfixable. I recommend sailing the high seas to make sure you can fix the issues on your rig before doing a bad purchase.

I think one of my favourite moments in this game was playing as amazons, about 25-30 of my men were stuck outside this narrow corridor that was blocked by a pimmon wall so they just stood there flexing at it I checked back later and a section of the wall was missing so I don't know what happened there.

Damn, it took me but a second to recognize the game Sseth had open on his laptop at first, Spellforce. Again confirming that he's got an exceptional taste in videogames that nobody ever played. EDIT: It Actually works in modern rigs, keep scrolling down till you see cockman official, he explains in his comment how to install the gog release in order for it to work.
Keep in mind tho, its has issues. This issues can be fixable or impossible to fix depending on your rig apparently. In my case they were unfixable.
I recommend sailing the high seas to make sure you can fix the issues on your rig before doing a bad purchase.

When you install the game on win 10 it will launch normally - the intro, title screen, all this stuff works
But when you start a new game or load a save file it's just gonna show a black screen or an endless ocean.
Worry not however, there is a solution:
The problem lies in GOG's default install path. For some reason, the game will only work when you install it in a folder on your local drive.
So instead of installing it in the default path you should set the installation path to, for example:
C:\(Folder name)
The game should work normally once you install it this way.

Damn, it took me but a second to recognize the game Sseth had open on his laptop at first, Spellforce. Again confirming that he's got an exceptional taste in videogames that nobody ever played. Sure hope he reviews or mentions that one again, the game is very underrated and deserves recognition because it is fairly unique even though it can become a slog and it's one of those games where it is possible to completely fuck up a character and make it almost unplayable by making your every choice the wrong one.
