Cops dont usually pull sport bikes over nowadays in the states. No point. If im on a sport bike and we got open rd and i decide not to stop... what is the cop gonna do? Nothing. I have flown by cops a few times with the radar out and they didn't budge. Even a stock 600 supersport will do 0-60 in 3 sec, and run 10s in the quarter. No police car is catching that.... except in Miami where cops drive super cars and muscle cars as marked cars.
I just bought an 07 three months ago. Mint condition 20k miles for $3800! I got a box of all the stock parts including the original exhaust. The previous owner went two down in the rear which killed the top end speed. Im too scared to try a wheelie.
29K high mileage???? I'd be very disappointed if I paid the original price for an R1 and years later found out that it was closer to end of life at 29K or 18000 miles.
Nice bike I have an 06 myself was just wondering if you could tell me what they did to change out the exhaust from under the tail to out the side looking to do the same for mine would like to know what hardware or other extras I need to buy or If you have any suggestions on reducing heat from exhaust under the tail I’d appreciate it thanks for your time
