I have the same year, color and exhaust. How much difference did the tuning make and what is it? My bike definitely has never flashed out of the exhaust. I suspect mine might be a little lean.
@@levinlevinallday With the FTECU flash, the bike's performance really improves as it removes the restrictions. If you’ve also done a cat-delete like I did, you'll want to tune the fuel map to avoid running too lean. Enjoy the R1 and be safe out there! 😎
Yep, it’s really loud! The FTECU unrestricted ignition table is a lil aggressive causing the bike to idle @ 1550 RPM. That’s all sorted out now and you’ll notice the difference in upcoming vids. Thx!
@@romeojhd3720 I put a oval-body 14” Delkevic on my ‘02 FZ1, it’s just quiet enough at idle to ( hopefully ) not wake up the neighbors when I fire-up at 02:30am to go to work.
Shitty levers ✅ Useless blacked out windscreen ✅ Carbon fibre wrapped triple clamp ✅ Yep, squid alert. Imagine putting a good amount of money into exhaust but then cheaping out on the important stuff and adding impractical mods. Poor bike.
@@manbiteslife3110 anything performance wise, air filter, exhaust, tune, better tires, brake pads and disks, stainless steel brake lines(I swear most people still have the oem rubber lines that are 5+ years past their replacement dates), actually good quality levers and grips, and maybe a few more that I'm forgetting. Clear double bubble wind shilds are good if you're tall and the wind bothers you. In the same vein there's aftermarket pegs for adjustability. Anything else will start to be in the aesthetic department like fender eliminators and maybe led headlights and brake lights if you want a more modern look, but I'd say buying some good led bulbs would be better.
@@123gtt no one in particular, I just hate seeing people put shitty mods on their bikes, some straight up unsafe like the crappy levers, and some that just take away functionality like a blacked out windscreen. It's like looking at ricers in the car community with all their crappy mods. Maybe I'm just too critical tho, I don't see why you'll ever put stuff on a bike that limits or removes certain functionality or is there just for the looks. Like doing a fender eliminator removes the ugly, I see that as worth while, but putting fake carbon is just a dumb and pointless aesthetic mod, if you're going to add carbon add real ******* carbon panels or fairing parts, at that point you're reducing a lil weight instead of well adding.
@@vali69 f. this is so useful thanks bro. I already bought a double bubble clear. Good quality levers and grips, I heard oem is the best. I have very good feel with oem. Would like to check my brake lines. Are there like universal stainless steel ones and you just replace yours with these? Isn't oem the best generally?
My favourite Super Bike 👍
YO! DIS A FYAH!!

I have same exact bike! same year same color except Crome rims lol

Loudest idle I’ve heard, I’m sure it’s your mic.

I got those off eBay. I’m now rocking Vortex V3. You’ll see them in newer vids.

Im a new rider, but what would be some good practical mods, beside you know quishifters and steering dampers.
Who pissed in your bed!
