I like your detail. Someone busted out the rear one, just to find nothing worth taken so now I am looking to find a cost effective DIY fix. I don't see your link you mentioned about where you got the piece of glass. You still up for sharing that information?
Hey! Thanks for checking it out. This is where I purchased the vent glass. I googled for the best deal on the glass primer and gasket sealant (3M) www.toyotapartsdeal.com
How thick of a bead did you put on this? I've replaced mine 2X and I didn't put enough of the caulk on and I hear wind through the window. I need to do it again with a real fat bead.
You DON'T need to remove the panel to change the glass only .they guy fixed it in 10 minutes without removing the panels from inside !!!! Watched the video and took it to garage and thought had to undo all screws to do it which you don't need !!!!!!
Appreciate you bro
Thanks!!!
Thank you for this!
You are welcome!

Same here, it has to be thick. There is a “V” cut you can make as well to help get it to stand higher as well
@@KodysGarage Thanks. I will try that.
I redid the caulk, put a big fat bead of caulk all the way around and success! No more wind/rain coming in the window. Back to factory specs!
@@hillbillydeluxe5534 hell yeah! Glad you get it all fixed up!
Don't forget the caulk gun...

Interesting…
Do we use double tape?
No, that’s not strong enough
@@KodysGarage sir, I want to ask that can we use both double tape and silicone gel? Or we only use silicone gel?
