one of my favorite 80's songs + one of my favorite modern musicians = a freakin' good day for me
A simply gorgeous rendition of one of my favorite Bunnymen songs. Beautiful.
The fact that they could put their own West Coast/American spin on Horses, shows just how good a song it really is.
first I'm gonna like it then I'm gonna love it, this is the best thing now
what an excellent song,. great combination of players and people,. really great.
Hoping this comes out as a single on Spotify ❤️❤️❤️
This cover brings me to peace after a long day in a busy kitchen. Absolutely beautiful.
Fantastic to hear you guys appreciate a classic
Absolutely beautiful version of this damn near perfect song.
Well..... something made me shiver.....
Always 💘 the original but this is absolutely sublime 👍👍
Loved it love it....beautiful.
I am loving this
This is brilliant.
wow, brilliant cover!
Vinyl was everything.
Excellent version!
it's so funny that for years now I've always loved the song "boy with a coin" all time favorite song by iron and wine but now this stuff,. really excellent,.
This is gorgeous and beautiful and Sam does no wrong.
Awesome, love them headless horses
Sounds hippiesque... 🦄🤩😍
Omg 😳 ❤😊
amazing
The trumpet player is going in. Great cover.
Would you please do Bedbugs and Ballyhoo....please.
Well that was different. When I saw Calexico about 15 years ago I was standing right next to to Sam Beam at the show, nice to see them playing together.
They did an album together and toured together for it
Pleasant enough, but doesn't capture the essence of the original.
Good, because that's been done already by the original. The point of a cover is to bring something new to a song.
@@grokthirteen640 There's nothing new about slowing a song down and playing it folksy. That has its place and can be good (lots of other Iron & Wine tracks do it), but this falls short, imo, sorry. Also, lots of cover songs are different stylistically yet still retain the spirit of the original. If you like this cover, good for you, I guess.
Doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s a cool cover.
@@GMan-jx3dn I hear you, man. It's better than I could do!
Ian often slowed down EATB songs in his solo shows. I like it it brings a lush sound to it. And I'm usually one to turn away from EATB covers.
Less poignant but more harmonious and grand. Perhaps it's the way it should have been done.
Barbershop raga
BORING!
