- Join me for a quick lunch today in Santo Domingo. The restaurant is called Lincoln Rd and it's located in Piantini. It's a family friendly restaurant with a extensive food and rink menu. We come here for lunch often. It has and outside bar which become really packed at night. It has an area for kids to play which my daughter loves while me and my husband sit outside enjoying the beautiful and scenery of the this busy city. So next time you are in Santo Domingo check Lincoln Road out. I'm sure you will enjoy the atmosphere.

Norberis I am not even going to try and spell that m word food. But what I would like to know is. what ingredients y products is use to make it? Seems it’s one of your favorites.
Yes it is, And the main ingredients are fried plantain, fried pork and garlic. Some people make it with different type of meat. Also the word is Mofongo.
Very nice video! I am planning to visit the Dominican Republic in two weeks. Do you know what covid test I need to enter? Also do you know where I can take the Covid test when I am returning to the states?
You don't need it to enter DR. You can take it in most hospital and clinic here, and usually take a minimum of 6 hrs. for the result back.

What would be a reasonable tip to give in restaurants in Santo Domingo? I struggle with this,my husband says I tend to be too generous with the tips.🤦🏽♀️I guess I’m afraid of giving to little but at the same time don’t want to be overly generous because I aint rich lol 😂 Hope you can make a video talking about this topic. Yes I understand and I feel the same way. Just so you know they already put 10% legal tips in your so you just over tipping. What I do is depending on de service provided I do the extra tip. generally between 100 and 200 pesos.

Thank you, happy new year to you too. Well mofongo is a Puerto Rican dish and is made of fried plantain mix with fried pork belly with garlic. Mangu o platano majado is boiled plantain smashed with butter.
Hi! We are a group of men can we go out to celebrate my birthday. We would like to rent a nice condo or house close to nightlife and the beach. A place where we can walk around, for example to the grocery store, bars and restaurants and not have to worry about getting lost or walking too far. Can you give me a suggestion please of what area to look for? Thank you
Remember DR is a big island you have to be more specific as to what part of the island you will be visiting in order for me to try to answer this question.

Honestly I can't remember. We ended up having about 3 drinks a piece so I came out a little higher😁
Is this close to Blue Mall?
It's not far from it but not like walking distance close. Blue Mall is on Churchill and this restaurant is on Lincoln so it's the next main street over.

This video is about sharing my experience eating at different restaurants in Santo Domingo it's not about Dominican Food. I did not mentioned Dominican dish or food in this particular video how ever I do have plenty of videos cooking and also eating our delicious dishes and you are welcome to watch them.
