Love this video. I am on Zepbound and currently living a Ketovore lifestyle, drinking a gallon of water daily, hiking every Saturday morning with my boyfriend, and going to the gym 3 days a week after work. I do count my calories still and I meal prep every Sunday. I am still mindful of what I am putting in my body. You have to live healthy or what is the point of going on these medications. Because when you get off of them, you will gain it all back if you don't change your lifestyle. At the end of the day, I must help myself. The medication is there to help but it's just help, not a miracle cure.

Excellent. Agree that GLP1 RAs with no lifestyle plan is not a full solution. Good to have the keto solution with a GLP kickstart for those battling serious carb addiction and have an off-ramp for the drugs.

My son is on multiple anti psychotics as an inpatient
Weight loss is going ok roughly 20kg in 8 weeks
    But ketones levels are low
Wondering if exogenous ketones could help as well 🤔

That's a great question. Some people have reported benefits from exogenous ketones, but there is much still to learn about dose, frequency, and who may benefit from them.

You should interview Dr Christopher Palmer from Harvard Medical school! His book Brain Energy is incredible, he is advocating these same things ( metabolic brain health via ketogenic diet) now after years of traditional psychiatric treatments.

We agree! Here's our interview with Chris. We're big fans of his work. ruclips.net/video/oC-sQogfh3Q/видео.html

I have to say that I have been on the most extreme diet of my life for the last 4 weeks, and I have not compromised once!
And this low carb diet has done absolutely nothing for my lifelong depression, it hasn’t changed a thing 😢

That’s disappointing… maybe increase your good healthy fats? That’s what your mitochondria really love. Best of luck to you.

I'd consult with a good Ayurvedic doctor or practitioner ... some are on-line. They helped me a lot in the past.

I’m not sore if that would cause a zero affect. Besides I’m pretty sure I have a pretty high fat intake, I have no hunger at all so I think that’s ok?

I don't know. Strangers can't really advise. Ayurveda is not about high fat, it is about finding the correct diet / lifestyle for your body and phsiology. @@pathwithin8856

This looks more like the empty promises that every Dr has given me in my, and my family’s lives.
