Fortunately the vast majority of the ones we see here in the US have a set screw or plastic retainer cap holding the driver pins in, so we generally don't need to do this but this very well might be faster since some of the ones we get you have to adjust your pin sizes as the plug diameter isn't standard to the keyway bitting. That would be far easier to account for this way as opposed to educated trial & error. Definitely going to have to look into buying one of those ARGUS TOOLS & give this a try.
I have no idea how you get that circlip off. I have turned it around and found a spot where the pick tool goes in deep but can I get it to budge? Can I hell. That's the show stopper. What's the trick? Do I push, twist, push and twist, lever? Give us a clue. EDIT: It's ok. My clips are not spring clips they are soft metal. Need to spread them with circlip pliers then compress them again to refit.
I have not seen the Argus tool available to us from North American suppliers. We do not have to many of these to deal with here (hard to service without that tool)
@dr lock I live in Uganda working with an NGO for special needs children. We have these types of locks (Abssa throughout our offices and want to key them alike. Can you send the info for the tools you are using to do this job? I would really appreciate the help. We have over a hundred doors, and all have separate keys. Its a real pain.
