      I mean the technology and physics can only go so far. Added features such as storage or nozzle holders is really all you can add now. Precision of the QD’s, swivel and trigger is most important. Hand fitment as well which is why some people with big hands struggle with many of them.

      @@WillieBeamin-t4v Only thing is OG is about the only place to get a built in swivel Mosmatic and Kleen Rite is sold without the very nice quick connects from Mosmatic. All that together is what makes the high price on OG website. Several of the Mosmatic on Kleen Rite are well over $100 without the quick connects or swivel. Personally still too much for me to spend.

    FYI, there are magnetic stainless steel and non magnetic stainless steel. Using a magnet is not an absolute test for stainless steel.

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  Месяц назад +3

      Correct, just usually they always use 304 or 316 on these trigger guys so I was basing on those types of stainless which are not magnetic. Very possible it is 400 series stainless which is why I stopped short of saying its not stainless and let Griots chime in on what it is as they state the manifold is stainless. The screw for sure is not stainless at all as it was way to magnetic.

    This is more lf a "for fun" honorable mention but have you tried using the "EASY!Force Advanced Pressure Washer Trigger Gun" its a Karcher pressure washer gun but i would NOT recommend it for detailing its best used for other pressure washer industrys. I my self used it for about a 6months to wash cars as an experiment but its best suited for concrete floors and washing side walls. Also its a heavy unit once you have all the proper fittings/ adapters installed. For gits and shiggles I even put a mosmatic live swivel but it looked silly 😅 and bulky. Just a video idea if you want to try something different.

About the Griots one: I could stand the price (man it's expensive af), I could stand the bulk (I want to see your picture with a shotgun Keav in full tactical gear - that would be something) but the one thing is absolutely horrendous is the trigger - it reminds me of my old Karcher standard spraygun trigger and i hate it with all my heart.

      Functionality for sure I think it’s better, but quality of materials is a different story. That’s why it’s so awesome we have so many choices right now.

    who tf does Griots think they are charging $35 for ONE rubber nozzle guard?? The MTM doesn't even cost that much. You're way better off getting the Ridge Washer nozzle guards for only $25 and they come with a pack of 4 and they are rubber. Also, that gun is horrendous what were they thinking?! It looks like a cheap $10 amazon gun. That trigger is so bad and I hate the straight right angle design of it. The MTM style angle is the best.

      All the nozzle guards are a waste of money. Who the hell ever hit their paint with the tip of their gun? Nobody.

      @@Samuelfish2k are you dumb?😭😭😭 you must not be a detailer or a noob that’s never used or owns a short gun. It’s extremely easy to accidentally touch your car with the end of the nozzle when you’re up close to it buddy.

      Happens quite often to many I know. They love nozzle guards especially those working in real tight quarters. I see what you mean though in a perfect world nobody drops foam cannons either, but it happens a lot.

      I’m with you on the MtM angle I prefer that. I always review from multiple perspectives and many live the straight angle. Not only are they expensive, but very inaccurate for such a price. The Ridge Washers I have are pretty much dead on. It does look like a cheap Amazon spray gun.

      @@CarsWithKeav yea I definitely did not expect that from Griots. I used to live in Washington not too far from their Tacoma office so I generally liked Griots but not so much lately. I bought the brilliant finish foam cannon last year and it was atrocious. The metal ball corroded so bad and was nasty looking and literally ate away at the bottom of the plastic bottom and left yellow stained indents all over it. Then the manifold got gunked up super quick and stopped producing even decent foam. Luckily I called griots and they sent me a new bottle, straw, and updated medal ball with a rebuild kit but still not worth it for $64. Luckily I have the MJJC v3 now and love it.
