A few things: I am currently experimenting with indoor portraits just like its seen here. Its humbling to know that even Manny is still learning ( as great as he is) and he's not the only one using a filter thats too small for the lens attached. Also,I am not the only one who drops them lol.
Another fantastic piece of art. Huge applause for Diana, she is amazing 🙌🏼🙌🏼, so chill and always all in. Gorgeous of course. Thanks Diana and great job on the styling.💕
You look just like the officer that arrested me in Florida back in the day. I appreciate you showing us the bts this way - quick video but it got to the point and also getting to hear from you is wayyyy better than charts, graphics, and a “take myself to serious” vibe!
If you were trying to emulate the example, I think you should have balanced that tungsten (3200k) mole with a 1/2 or full CTB to match the strobe (5500K) just so it doesn't cast too much of an orange halo. You can see how it spills on to the skin- correcting it in photoshop, her skin tone will be off. Also, you were right to use the gridded strip in the first test-
Fabulous short video love the look as Im a fan of vintage hollywood this fits right with my sort of projects to come. I noticed that nearly all pro photographers on youtube are now using Canon R3, 4, 5, 6 and being a Canon guy on a budget I cant reach those heights just yet but I want to improve asap from my 9 year old budget Canon 700D - either stick with APSC and go for Canon 90D or give in and go for full frame canon below £1500 - but I will want to see a real clear and obvious improvement in image and video quality, not just features - Would you or your viewers have any recommendations or thoughts it would be really helpful I dont want to make a wrong move. Kind regards from London UK
The tutorial is great, i will definitely try something similar. Tks manny. One question, if i dont have such a big softbox, what are the other options.
bro...I want the same hair style you are sporting...what color is that....lol....seriously, great video bro. See you soon in Chicago when Eli and I come back out there.
for smoke to luck like haze close de doors windows and spread with a cardboard and let it sit and put AROMA SCENT TUTTI FRUTTI FLAVOUR,for filter mist put 10 den silk women socks (white, black, nude)
Hey, nice video! I've been wanting to ask you for a long time. What is better to take for a reportage video (weddings and various events): Sony a6400, a7 mark 2, canon 90D or something else? The budget is $1,700. Thank you in advance for the answer!
I enjoy your videos but here’s a cigarette tip .. what I have used is just take part of a paper towel roll it up grab some scotch tape and boom. I have even lit one side let it burn for a little blow it out to get some smoke. Works pretty good and looks reasonably real 👍
Who remembers when a 24-105mm lens was considered a bad lens and or a kit lens that u tried too sell it or avoid using it, now a lot of legit pro and star-photographers use them lol
Over the years there have been so many of those “error 01” failures of the 24-105, due to ribbon cable failures I believe, I think it just got a bad rap.
Hi! How are you? As of yesterday, the number of COVID-19 confirmed patients in Korea is 38,691. I am worried that the number is increasing exponentially. Really, I hope this situation will end this year. I hope you have a healthy holiday.
Manny . . . I LUV your tutorials and videos. This vintage photo came out AWESOME, I think Diana should have been barefoot (like in the reference photo). I wish my wife would let me photograph her yo she does.
For those of u wondering. I’m still here being held against my will 😭😂
😂😂

🤣😆 the best !! this turned out beautifully, nicely done with the styling / props
U guys still marry don’t see u around anymore

24-105mm is my fav!
Luv your work Eli.
24-105/F4 is a terrific studio lens. super versatility
Chose studio photography as my niche oppose to being generic by doing all sorts of shoots, all because of you myG. Keep inspiring 👍🇿🇦
Great concept for a shoot and I like the results. Looks like you need a step down ring for that filter.
Absolutely gorgeous photoshoot! Diana looks amazing and was spot on with the entire look. Loved this! Great work 🙌🏼
I enjoy that quick bts Manny! Love that image!
In my humble opinion, a little bit of desaturation and it would be a perfect retro photo. Great job!
Diana is hilarious. You both are so beautiful together.
24-105 is one of my favorite lenses for my R5. It really is such a great lens!
Que gran Fotógrafo eres, aunque no entiendo el idioma, saco muchas enseñanzas y conclusiones de sus videos... saludos desde Colombia parcero

Amazing Manny.. could you tell us what are those ceiling light spring mounts that go up and down ? Plzzzzz

Great video👏
Love You guys

The Joel Grimes ad at the beginning of this video explained it all in 90 seconds.

The tutorial is great, i will definitely try something similar. Tks manny. One question, if i dont have such a big softbox, what are the other options.
Love it !!
Great job!
The edgy look is dope
Honestly, the video of her is better than the stills, you should try to recreate that look
Manny would u make a video using old dslr or budget camera to create professional result...sorry for my bad English :)
sir which one is the back light/ headllight... I mean what is?
Hey Manny, what's the name of those cool scissor mounts that you have your lights on?
bro...I want the same hair style you are sporting...what color is that....lol....seriously, great video bro. See you soon in Chicago when Eli and I come back out there.
What were the settings that you used
Curious what settings you use to mix constant lighting and flash and still knock out ambient light. Also white balance is for the constant or flash?
Nice, it looks good.Could you use a vintage lens to see if there is much of a difference
Youre master!
You can use blu-tack or whatever it's called to put the filter on the camera lens temporarily.
Nice photos
Oh damm !!👌🏻
for smoke to luck like haze close de doors windows and spread with a cardboard and let it sit and put AROMA SCENT TUTTI FRUTTI FLAVOUR,for filter mist put 10 den silk women socks (white, black, nude)

Vintage portrait with ultra modern lenses will never get the same result as with using classic lenses.
On the fence with RF 24-105 & RF 24-70 2.8 😩
I can’t place that reference photo. I’ve seen it before. Who is the photo of?
super!
thanks a lot ^^
0:20 I laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣

Manuel, do you know that your website is down?
What was up with the filter?
What type of material is back ground that you use.
Mostly paper
@@MannyOrtiz so in this photo shoot you used paper. Thank you
@@MannyOrtiz What theme is your website in squarespace? I like the scrolling photos on your homepage.
Wow I like vintage photo ...he does it so effort lessly
Re-do this shoot with a canon RP?🤷🏽♂️
