Suzuki GS500 cafe build ver. 2021

This bike was the product of being home for most of 2020... So, I took my lessons learned from my first GS500E build and applied them to here. This time, with GSXR front end, R6 rear shock, and complete tear down to powder coat the frame. Finished her off with fresh paint on the tank.

Wow i think the best part is that you didn't really do anything very complicated, aside from the rear frame to accomodate the cafe racer seat. It really shows how simplicity can be key! Great job!

Excellent inspiration. I just picked up a rather decrepit 94 GS500, and am split between a scrambler or cafe racer. Knowing a gsx-r front will fit is excellent info. This will be my first build, and I'll be referring back to this video a bunch to keep motivated!
