+Thomas Heaton I live in africa.. And here nothing is possible. ..😂😕
You have the best photography videos on the internet.. very inspiring and amazing shots!! Thank you
+YTDekus Thanks a lot!
You should come to Ireland for a few days and do the Wicklow way, I think it would really suit your style!
I would love to. One day I hope.
+Thomas Heaton if you do manage it let me know, would be great to get some tips from someone with an eye like yours! I'm on Instagram as @ronanhdphotography if you want to see some shots from around the mountains here
Another outstanding video, and more outstanding images. Thank you.
So PURE! I really enjoy watch your on location videos
Thank you Thomas for another inspiring upload. Yours are my Favourite
thanks Thomas, you never disappoint :)
I always get excited when I see your stunning videos on my feed
You are an inspiration for me.... I'm finding myself turning towards Landscape photography, what you said is correct its not about making the best photo in the world, its about making an image that gives the feeling of being in that place...
my dream job man
Another excellent on location shoot, Mr. Heaton! :)
I want just to say, THANK YOU.
Another great video...Thanks
Cracking final shot T, keep up the great vids! Happy New Year to you
It's ridiculous how excited I get when I see a new video pop up. I really enjoy watching. Keep it up! I know it's time consuming to make these but your making a big impact. I'm always super motivated to get out and shoot more after watching your videos. Thanks
+Morgan Nowland That's great to hear and I shall be keeping it up! Thanks.
Love watching your videos! Such a great source of inspiration! I would Love to see more of your photographs on instagram! Thanks again for a great video! Keep it up!
Good job Thomas. I enjoy seeing your narration and images of places you travel. You have a very good and calm attitude finding your places and making the most of it. Keep more videos in the pipeline, I look forward to see them here on You-tube.
YES a new video! love it.
another enjoyable video Tom. Very inspiring. Best wishes for new year....I look forward to seeing more of your videos
Amazing pictures!! Please do more!! these are super enjoyable to watch!!
The last shot turned out pretty good, but I wonder why you shot all of them in portrait format. Yes, you said that it worked better or something on camera, but have you actually shot any of them in landscape format? Anyway, it is always nice to see kind of 'behind the scene' type of videos which helps understand why photographers took shots in certain ways and how they did it detailing their thought process. Thanks!
Amazing, glad I found your channel. Keep Going!
Amazing video as always! Thanks so much for sharing. You'd have a blast hiking and taking photographs here in the Faroe Islands.
+Gehteuch Nichtsan what
+Gehteuch Nichtsan Definitely creepy.
+0 fks given what a weirdo
Nice work Thomas. Keep doing this videos, I always learn something new with them!
Your photographs and videos make me smile every time. Outstanding!
Thanks for sharing Thomas!
Your content is really mind-refreshing and unique
What a great location. It's great to hear your thought process as you hunt for comps! Your first and last images were the best IMHO.
Love the black and white image looking up the ridge. :-)
Thanks for sharing another great video. Truly awe inspiring.
Love your work Thomas. Keep up the fantastic work you do.
Yo! Love your videos. Curious how you get such clean audio in the wind? I've tried several dead cats and can't seem to get it right still
So glad I found your channel, truly inspiring stuff!
as always, nice work
'Let's see if we can get this before the cloud comes back.................nope! :-) Haha. Your positivity is amazing, but it's great that you include the photography fails too. Real life can't be hung on the wall.
Is that ACTUALLY Tom Heaton on location where there are other people? Shock horror! I thought EVERYWHERE you go the world is yours alone. It's starting to hurt between videos Tom! When r you gonna quit ur day job and do this for a living? Absolutely LOVE what you do, as do quite a number of other photographers I know here in Scotland. Any chance of a 'night with Thomas Heaton' sometime? I know at least half a dozen of us that would travel from the West of Scotland for that! Your passion, the manner with which you project it, visually, orally and with music.........it just strikes a chord so well with so many. Seriously, thanks Thomas. You're a real inspiration! Yours kindly, Rob.
Great video Thomas !
Very nice video. I am about to hit that subscribe button. Thanks for sharing this.
Me. Heaton,
I love your work. You should come to the Caribbean one day.
Regards,
Just what I was hoping for over the Festive season...
One of your wonderful videos.
Thanks for all your content. Looking forward to more in 2016.
Rewatching your whole series as I’m in Australia and it’s summer and I really need some inspiration to get me through to autumn. Nothing better than watching a Thomas Heaton RUclips video whilst enjoying an ice cold brew!
You sir document a memory a feeling and inspire in many ways !!! well done.
Thomas, you are an inspiration! Awesome videos, my friend!
Breathtaking landscape, Simply amazing work Tom. Happy New Year!
Thanks Thomas. Always great stuff. Makes me miss the UK !
Brilliant...my favourite vlog of yours. At 8:40 I thought you had a Brocken Spectre! The narrow path at the bottom of the hill is just like CAD West in Wales. I am about to start bagging all the munros - on film, not necessarily on foot 😂 and this video has been a huge help, cheers.
I enjoyed watching this video, good work Thomas
Thomas, I'm fallowing you since your first video. You are literally my role model as the photographer. Thanks for your videos and for inspiring me. :)
Thanks for sharing and I really like your photography.
I found out that in most of your videos(vlogs) that there was very nice composition of landscape. Hence from next time before moving further, just turned around and see the nature's drama! As always your videos👌🏻
As always, love your outings. I have walked 20 Long Distance Footpaths but now because of health reasons I am unable to continue. But its marvellous to see you doing the hills and getting those amazing images...
Great video and wonderful images as always, thank you! If you ever find yourself stateside again, you should consider the Pacific Northwest, a lot of great mountains, lakes, waterfalls, etc.
Another great video, Thomas. It is nicely described here what is the landscape photography about. Not always about taking the best photo in the world (that's subjective anyway) but about capturing the uniqueness of the moment - the atmosphere and photographer's perception. What I really like about your videos is not only the beautiful places you take us all to and your great advises but also the way how the video is presented. Your calm commentary together with nice music only strengthen the atmosphere of whole video and it works very well all together. After watching every video I have strong urge to grab a camera and go outside. Thank you!
Another great video and I think you succeeded in your goals. I particularly loved the B&W images. I've walked that route myself and will have to revisit soon.
Tried Sharp Edge many years ago when a lot younger. Had to turn back as Mountain Rescue helped by a Sea King were in the process of recovering a body and helping a couple who had become cragfast in the gully. Never went back.
Lovely video Thomas, Keep them coming, its a dream job, one which with a disabled wife i struggle to do these days, your videos give me freedom to explore. Thank you
You're like a photographer Bear Grylls. Awesome videos man.
I've never been to lake district but I walk on dartmoor a lot, I find watching your vlog very therapeutic and I learn a thing or two on the way, so thank you for that :)
Cheers from Germany. Your videos and your landscape compositions are inspiring.
Fantastic! I always look forward to your videos, very inspiring.. keep it up!
great vid i love them all
It's such a beautiful place in winter. It happens to snow over the hills but green and sunny in the valleys. A perfect contrast to do photos. Only thing is a patience, one day it may be raining and windy, next sunny with snow. You never know.
Love this video, we recently hiked Blencathra taking the easy route up from the centre and back down. This video is a a good summation of the challenges of photography on the fells, great videos stand the test of time!
Ive only just found your videos and I am absolutely amazed with the tutorials. The inspiration I have got from watching a few of the videos wants me to go out and shoot landscapes whatever the weather. Keep up the good work I will look forward to viewing more of your work
There is a Pink Floyd album title in there somewhere. Nice video as always.
That slippy Sharp Edge, the wind, tripod and expensive camera :(
Hi Thomas I am loving all your content and locations. The only criticism I can give you is you dont have enough videos on your chanel. I watched them all in 2 days and now ill just wait for either more digitalrev vids or more from you. subscribed.
Great video ! As an aspiring photographer I find there videos really motivating. Keep up the great work :D
You have an amazing eye! Lovely landscape all around!
Thanks for sharing Thomas ! Always a pleasure to watch your videos !
amazing video as always! i have looked on your portfolio and i see that you have a lot of wildlife pictures as well. it would be amazing if you made a video where you focused on the wildlife and not only landscapes. :) just an idea :)
Hi Thomas, greats vids keep them coming. Can I ask what insert you use to keep your kit safe in your rucksack please?
You know, I love the dramatic music you use, somehow it gives a sense of belonging to your photos, thanks for sharing.
Another superb production well done Thomas most enjoyable.
personally, My favorite photo was the last image you showed, it felt intense and you it pictured perfectly how high up you were. the others didn't really hit me that hard besides the one I just mentioned.
some of the views behind you at ~8min to 8:20min in are amazing. leading lines created by the fog. definitely hitting the lake district when I get back to the UK.
very nice, as always. Best landscape Photography Vlog.
ım subscriber from turkey. my english is not awesome at listening so if there is no otomatically subtitle, i cannot figure out what do you tell exactly because of your british accent and my english skill levels . consequently i want to you create a english subtitle. it will be really really good for your foreign subscriber if you do
You are a big inspiration to me because I really want to going hiking just me and my camera and take some awesome photos. I’m only 14 so I hope I can get there
Thomas, this is a fantastic video. You should consider a trip to British Columbia.
love your vlogs, hate the annoying background music.
Inspiring and very different to other photography channels on here. Thank you!
When you plan the hikes and places to photograph, do you use the Photographers Ephemeris?
Very nicely done. Incredible views and images. Thanks.
Where you set the GoPro @ 7:45 would have made a lovely Image I thought.
Great video as usual Thomas..
Thomas reminds me to Bear Grills in some way, anybody else have that opinion? :)
Thomas what do you think about the zeiss 21mm milvus 2.8 ?
Sorry, it is on www.jensassmann.com/about-1. best regards from Hamburg, Jens
Nice work Thomas, need to do this hike in the near future, seems a beautiful place to shoot!
Nice! very nice..., Thank you ever much! Thomas..., 👍
hey mate love your work .... keep up and good luck always :-)
Always find your channel an inspiration to get out there with my camera.
Another great vid Thomas. +1 for Ronan HD's comments below. I live in the west of Ireland and have photographed it extensively. You need to come here! Happy new year to you fella.
+Kieran Stafford Thanks, I would love to travel around Ireland. Hopefully one day soon.
Nice video man!
Also why no grad on the last shot could the camera hold the dynamic range in one image .
Hi Thomas! Thanks for the awesome videos and insight about this amazing aspect of your life! Can i ask, how do you go about setting the WB of your camera for these beautiful shots? Greetings from Panamá, Republic of Panamá! I subscribed!!!
+Alejandro Gómez Perscky I set my WB to 5600k, which always gives a true representation, but I shoot in raw, so I suppose it doesn't actually matter.
love these videos can you legally camp there?
