Does that skyroof creates any problem in heavy rains?? Also does it makes cabin hot in summer due thin porous sheet? What Would you recommend astor with skyroof or without skyroof?
I haven't faced any issues with the sunroof yet. Glass gets heated though in the summer but the AC did the job for me. I think getting a car with or without sunroof is a personal choice. I preferred having one.
Haven't tried driving in water logged areas but drove some during heavy rains. It has a traction control system that I suggest never turn off, but mainly driving on wet roads really depends on the quality of tyres. Mine came with GoodYear assurance tripplemax 2 94v types. It's a good tyre.
Your question made me check the manufacturer of the engine used in Astor(1.5L CVT). It's from General Motors and SAIC (parent company of MG) has refined it.
The car is made for the Highway drive. It glides through. The only thing that I am missing badly is ventilated seats that were introduced in the 2024 model. Haven't faced any issues in an uphill drive.. you might want to check out the Ooty video.
It seems the rain drops falling on the sunroof is creating hell lot of a noise inside the cabin. Don't you think such high decibel noise is highly irritating & distracting for the people sitting inside ?
Planning to buy… new dark green edition.. black interior

Do you feel any lack of power when driving uphill?
Yes, when the AC is turned on.
bro please say city mileage and service cost?
i am planning to buy
10-12kmpl in City. Service cost is about 5-7k if you don't have any major damages or part replacement for routine service of 10k kms.
@@FullTankDrive thank you
Sir can i keep the car for 15 years...is engine reliable...? Kindly suggest
I have done about 30k km in the last 1.5yrs. Some of these trips were about 2k kms in 4-5 days of span. I have not faced any issues so far.

@@mallikarjunahs6876 10-12kmpl in City. 14-15kmpl on highways. Both with AC turned on.

It was one hell of a rainfall. Cars without sunroof would have also made such noise.
