Jeep Patriot MAP Sensor P0238

This is how i diagnosed and fixed a MAP sensor fault (P0238) on my 2010 Jeep Patriot. The Jeep has the 2.0 crd engine fitted (VW 2.0 tdi).

That looks easier than replacing a front blinker in the damn thing. I'd love to box the ears of the Patriot engineers.

Haha, that’s because the map sensor is done by Volkswagen, the blinker is by the Patriot engineers 😂😂

As far as i’m aware it’s on the front of the engine block behind the inlet manifold. I think it’s a black plastic item that’s hard to see.

At 00:40 first off you're completely out of fuel! Lol, I recommend Amoco Silver 89 octane (non ethanol) ....that's what I run in my 2015 Jeep Patriot High Altitude. Idk what you have available fir gas in your back woods British neck of the woods lol..... that was a low blow ,sorry
