I don’t know why this song was on my heart today, but I wanted to hear it. We sang this when I was in elementary school back in the 80’s. Bring God back to the schools. Beautiful!!
Pretty good. I sang with my high school 49 years ago. We never performed this number, but it does bring back nice memories. I'm 67 and still singing. Keep singing. It's good medicine for the soul.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (November 30, Advent 1), we sang this as our Opening Hymn. It is #438 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. So begins the new church year, along with the waiting, the watching, the hoping, and the anticipating.
As a teen in high school, we sang this under the direction of Sean B. Williams, at Maury High, in Norfolk, VA. And each year, we got together with the chorus at Booker T. Washington to sing it with them. It was the event of the year, and one of my most thrilling memories. That was back in the mid 1950’s. I am now 84
Beautiful! And I LOVE those choir dresses! Every choir I was ever in had terrible shapeless black dresses... These blue dresses look gorgeous on every girl in the group. Love it!
This was the first song I ever sang in group, more specifically, choir class. I was studying opera in a conservatory and how I loved choir. I left cuz I didn’t like the system but I definitely learnt a lot of things and corrected some things I used to do singing. This song brings memories tho this was just in 2018.
My choir just practiced this & we're singing it this Sunday. I love it!

JUNTOS COMO HERMANOS
Desgraciadamente, muchos cantos sólo son parodias, nada de música sacra.

Extraneous noises spoiling this performance this choir deserves better!
the essence of the spiritual is dialect Research
Excelente. Naipes das vozes equilibrados.

@valpalkellster
Im in a Treble Choir too! And we are also performing this song for the New York allstate :)
My choir teacher played this in class and my friend decided that she wanted to sit right in front of the speaker so at 1:30 she fell out of her seat
@Luliex3 I'm in a terrible choir and we're performing it!
Maybe a Cherokee Blackfoot Comanche family members dance
top left guy is HOT
Basses should stand closer to the microphones than the ladies stand.
look in my channel. O Herr, welch ein Morgen ...
Very nice technically, but it lacks the soul of a spiritual.
Yep, exactly. How can you sing the words of this and be stiff as a board...
You're right. It's a boring interpretation... makes me sleep. Otherwise, good choir that deserves a a more emotional conductor
when a high school choir sounds better than ur youth choir (I'm in a youth choir and we harmonize this song)
how i hate music.....
Criticism: not what a morning, whadda morning.
Otherwise it it seemed alright.
