Tractor beams, inter-species analog controls, 3D printed ammo, futuristic CAPTCHA, on-board food printer... These are a lot of really nice ideas for secondary, non-combat systems. I am sure modern day militaries would love to have such devices if these were feasible with today's technology, but they would surely be the absolute universal standard in a future setting that is so unimaginably advanced. A lot of people like to recite the caliber of all 40.000 obsessively massive guns on their favorite variant of Imperator titan, but I prefer to hear about how people on the battlefield, during long periods of doing nothing, deal with their machines of war, ammunition and rations, be they real or fiction. Many authors say "it's powered by a compact fusion reactor" to explain why something has such awesome fighting capacities, but they fail to realize all the other million not-so-obvious things one could do with a mobile, practically infinite source of energy, as well as all the quaint war stories and anecdotes that would eventually ramify from soldiers having to interact with these features, and with the imperfections of their soulless companions and tools.
I got inspired by this video to try and make a 1:1 replica in space engineers I plan on uploading it on the workshop once I've finished it up some more
@@Dragoran5836 Thanks to the tech of Stomperguys there's not much of a distinction between true alien species and post-humans as DNA can be modified within an individual's lifetime (to an extent).
Low Poly is the highest level of detail, of course. Our brains just can't comprehend the splendor of a model made for a computer with an ostentatious 4MB of RAM.

4:24 oooh that sounds like it's gonna come up again later.
Stay stompy!
I cannot hit the Wants To Know More Button hard enough.
That was a VERY Emperor Battle For Dune style visual intro sequence.
You just need the slightly robotic briefing AI voice
ok i would love to see a RPG game from this world with all the cool lore your making with it
theres a lot of great worldbuilding in this lore vid. this is great!. i look forward to more.
I'm getting more of a "duck" feel. I'm gonna call it, "sad duck" for that possible tendency of lobbing nukes into its own face.
Oh, they are bigger than I thought.
We got any Quads coming for this setting? All sci-fi Mech settings REQUIRE Quads.
Soon~
@@FarseerAnimation T'will be glorious!

That would be amazing! We'd love to see it!
@@FarseerAnimation And I'd love to showcase the damned powderkeg on legs in a video if able once I DO get it finished XD
@@FarseerAnimation The mech is now uploaded to the workshop, I even got the video made to showcase a combat test of it
I don't understand what's going on but I like it
This is very neat. Have made any melee focused mechs for this setting?
Let’s just say you might see one soon!
@@FarseerAnimation You said 'species'. Are talking about aliens or post-human offshoots?

@@FarseerAnimation "posthumans" looking forward to seeing them
This thing has 6 nukes?! Jesus
"Computer overload, too much detail
Reducing to high definition model"
Isn't the second model *more* detailed?

great vid
can i ask when are you going back to star wars movie making
How are you not getting sued by topps like the other animators? Did you strike some sort of deal?
:D👍
