Yeah I saw that they shutdown it down about a week ago. Hopefully some other options will be available soon. The video is alittle harder to edit once it has been uploaded. Thanks for watching.
You can use a firestick or Roku stick if your doesn’t have one of those streaming platforms built in. Locast is shutdown unfortunately but I have other videos that offer free local streaming without an antenna.

I am not sure about an Android box but AiryTV opens up normal on my Roku and Firestick. It also has a guide to see the channels and guide. As for Locast you are correct it has been shutdown. I have a video coming out in a few weeks of a free alternative to Locast.
AiryTV mainly has sub stations and not the prime local channels. So you find stuff airing on Airy that you find on the sub stations like 2.2, 4.2, 5.3 and so on.
Did not pay attention to the date. Locast , witch was Great is Long gone. I guess this is Very old , I'll try AiryTv. Haven't heard of it before so it might be gone too

You’re welcome! I am not sure about the Cinema App. I don’t currently use it. Maybe it is just an error and it will fix itself soon. But I am not sure. Good luck though. Thank you for watching!
Unfortunately nothing for the Netherlands but you can use a free VPN on your streaming device and switch your location to the US to access these channels.
I am goning to cut the cable and have been looking for how to info just ran across this video and read comments about locast. I have a roku 4k will the VPN work on that and where can I find how to for it
Hey Mike thanks for your comment. Unfortunately Locast has been shutdown but I have a ton of videos on my channel about other free live tv channels apps. I even have two Locast alternates that you can use. Cut that cable man! There are so many free options it is unreal. I will doing some more Live TV content after the holidays. Thanks for watching!
Not really the Magic Stick TV is an antenna. The apps I talk about in the video use a streaming device like Roku, Firestick, phone or table. Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately Locast has been shutdown since I made this video. I am trying to come up with a few alternatives to Locast. Hopefully I will post a video soon about other options. Thanks for watching!

115 channels damn no wày ,yeah the APPS help out a ton getting free channels ,so does living in a big City I have a $70 dollar antenna and I get 7 channels the most my TV ever picked up was 17 channels ,but only 7 or 8 would come in strong enough to watch without cutting out so yeah basically 7 channels $70 antenna 😂 Smh
I have a clearstream indoor antenna l get 84 channels crystal clear indoor l live in the 6 floor building new Jersey but you need to find the right spot inside your living room apartment high in the wall
There are plenty of other apps to replace them for now. I don’t think this is the end, there will likely be an appeal filed. I am sure they will find a way to come back.
Yes you will need internet access, but you can connect your streaming device to your phone using it as a hotspot and stream that way if you don’t have internet access outside of your phone.
Airy of course which is the other app in this video. Check my other Live TV Channels video for more Free Apps. I will be coming out with other Free Live TV options very soon.
You don't need an antenna , so do you need an internet connection because you're implying that your TV can just do this as a stand alone but without an antenna or cable the only option is an internet connection/wifi.
This guy right here ⬆️ gets it. You are right my friend. The point is to cut cable it doesn’t matter how you do it. There are so many options including just an old fashioned antenna. Thanks for watching!

As for OWN you can hundreds of shows on the OWN app without logging in for free. Some content requires you to have a monthly subscription. Also you can watch BET with the PlutoTV app for free, there is even a BET channel on Pluto. If you want more than what’s on Pluto you will have to get a monthly subscription.
Here's what we like about cable is the menu and the E-Z guide. Amazon fire stick, Apple TV, Not sure about Roku they don't have guides that come up on the screen like the cable. we like a guide on the screen like what cable offers. Otherwise, it's feels like you're blindfolded and you just pick any random program and waste your time.
Depending on the streaming program most of them have Channel Menu or Programming Guides telling you what is coming on next. XUMO, PlutoTV and RokuTV to name a few all do that no matter what streaming device you are using.
This video was posted before Locast Shutdown. I am aware Locast has been shutdown but the other content in this video is still correct. I have some Locast Alternative Videos coming out soon.

Why are you advertising Locast. You are misleading people in your topic. You still have to buy some device to get the channels you talk about no different than getting an Antenna. There is no Locast anymore. Sorry, but I will stay with my Antenna for my local channels. All channels are also free with a one time buy of a low cost antenna.
Thank you for watching. I appreciate your feedback, but no one is being misled by this video or topic. At the time this video was posted Locast was available, but of course that is no longer the case. An antenna is a one time purchase option just like a streaming device.
Great video!!!
Thank you! Also Thank you for watching!
Look up Puffer for major channels
Thank you so much for sharing! I have heard of some of these but not all of them.

What took them down was the “mandatory” donation fee. Without paying it the service was unusable. They were masquerading as nonprofit org.
