Not sure what kind of antenna you tried, or how far away the broadcast towers are, but location and height is key to getting good reception, if the stations are not located in your town. You will get the best reception if the antenna you use is an outdoor antenna on an antenna pole. The antenna, also, needs to be pointing in the correct direction. They do have outdoor antennas that are motorized, so the direction can be easily adjusted. I don't know of you have an Ollies store in your area but they currently are advertising a motorized outdoor antenna with pole for about $30.

Here's what we like about cable is the menu and the E-Z guide. Amazon fire stick, Apple TV,
Not sure about Roku they don't have guides that come up on the screen like the cable. we like a guide on the screen like what cable offers. Otherwise, it's feels like you're blindfolded and you just pick any random program and waste your time.

you simply connect the coax from the antenna to your tv. On your remote, Select TV with your input button. . Now select menu. then select channels.. Chose air, or antenna. then select channel scan. It will take a few minutes to complete. You should see how many channels your TV is finding as it searches. The wording and menu varies a little from set to set, Now, when want to watch local, you just change the input from whatever HDMI port you are using for streaming to the cable, TV or coax input. Whatever its called on your TV. easy

Take the antenna and place it outside the window and place tape to hold it in place. That will fix the problem! Pointing the antenna left if right will fix the pixelation. Get a long coaxil cord if necessary to place it outside and use a barrel to connect it to the antenna cord. Good Luck.

Hmm... you could try using an amplifier. Some channels had a pretty weak signal for me until I got one. It's about $30 and plugs into the cord on the antenna. I'm going to make a video that's more specific about antennas soon. Meanwhile The Antenna Man on RUclips has some good tips as well.
