Leute, achtet darauf, was für ein Kabel ihr benutzt! Ich hatte zunächst nur ein sehr altes Stück Koaxkabel. Damit konnte ich nur das Programm der 70er Jahre empfangen.
Mir ist auch klar, warum: Früher hat man Koax-Antennen-Leitungen mit 60 Ohm Wellenwiderstand benutzt. Da hast du eine Partial-Reflexion, welche die neuen Sender nicht durchläßt. Du musst eine moderne 75-Ohm-Leitung nehmen ...
It'll work better if you connect this cable to a 12v x 100A battery. The central wire to positive and the shield to negative. Make sure to do it outside and keep a fire extinguisher near just in case...

To mniej więcej tak jakby powiedzieć, że podłączenie anteny coś "odblokowuje". Wiele lat temu odbierałem w Krakowie przez jakiś czas program drugi TV na kanale również drugim. . Kabel antenowy płaski długość bodajże 2,16 mb. Zwarty na końcach i sygnał odbierało się łacząc rozciętą w środku jedną żyłę kabla z wejściem antenowym 300 Omów. Ale to była " antena" na częstotliwość kilkadziesiąt MHz , a nie tak jak teraz większość jest powyżej 500 MHz . Wtedy to była namiastka anteny. Ale przy niedużej odległości działalo to jako dipol.

звичайно, автор перегнув палку в назві "разблокирует все телеканалы || Усилитель антенны". Подібними назвами грішать майже 95% всіляких авторів в інтернеті. Підсилювач повинен включати цілий набір радіоелементів. А його "чудо" як допоміжний елемент у виборі деяких каналів, до того ж приймаються біля десятка каналів більш-менш якісних, інші так собі чи зовсім ніякі. Через конструктивні особливості така антена може приймати канали тільки з певною частотою та на відстані від транслятора не більше 15 км. Відносно алюмінієвої шапочки, схоже що Ви це спробували. І як, вийшло? Звиняйте, за такий же сарказм, як і Ваш відносно автора.

I haven't tried this because when i looked closely at the end of the footage, (right at the very end of the video) it appears that the video was edited... First we can see the experimental coaxial cable plugged into the back of the tv, and then, immediately...there appears that the video was stopped & re-started, only to capture the channel's working as he uses the remote. Take a look at the wall plugs, to the right side of the tv... Look through the back of the tv area to the wall plug, there are no plugs, and when he is using the remote to go through the channel's, you can see that the tv is 🔌 plugged in obviously and so is the standard coaxial cable plugged in above the tv 🔌 Why not do an automatic channel test to show how many channels you got like the genuine experiments that some do ? It's not nice to deliberately deceive people like that. This is why i won't bother testing it out.

@@michaelscheidt3272 There was a break in the jacket in the middle of the loop, there shouldn't be a short. Before plugging it in, check the middle conductor to the jacket to be safe. But realistically, something like this would probably only pick up broadcasts very nearby.

Estas haciendo corto al enrollar el vivo con la malla. Haciendo corto se pueden estropear muchos televisores. Además de que los canales no se desbloquearan nunca así, timo total para recibir visitas. Lo primero que hago al entrar a una casa a reparar la antena es mirar si están en corto los cables y los conectores.
I cant say its a good antenna. Maybe next time you can make the round part of the antenna more bigger, and use a longer cable. One little problem is that the S band is used for Analog 'Cable' Tv. so the antenna isnt connected to the tv. Also cartoon network isnt on analog try harder next time
Hello. No one claims that the video shows analog channels. Digital channels can easily be caught on these regular antennas! It's a lie when they say that digital channels are only available with a cable connection to the operator!

Das ist ein Lambada-Drei-Viertel-Dipol. Ich glaube für die Frequenz musst du die Schatten-Wurzel aus 2773 koaxial triangulieren. Ich bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher, zur Not fragts du einfach mal am Drive-in Schalter bei MCDonalds.

TV is just back ground noise that being hard of hearing, matters little in my day to day life. The wife has no problems with it. Such is life. What bothers me, most of it is made in China.

@@andyhowlett2231 Are you suggesting 5 inches would work well because this would make it a 'tuned' antenna. As an electronics engineer I can tell you what drivel this is ! It does form a loop antenna but 5 inches long wouldn't make it tuned to UHF or anything else in particular. There is no analog signal (in the UK) anymore anyway. If you instructed on how to make a dipole corresponding to a specific wavelength (1/2, 1/4, 1/8 wavelength) I would at least be on board with the theory. Plus as the last guy said, a piece of wire shoved in the centre of the coax plug may give you an output of something. Just very little gain.

A quarter-wave monopole antenna is one of the basic receiving antennas and works fine against a ground plane, which in this case is (roughly) provided by the TV chassis. Monopoles ARE frequency-conscious and resonate at a frequency dictated by their length. I suspect this one doesn't need much gain if the one shown works so well. All I'm saying is that he could receive almost as well with a much simpler antenna. BTW it doesn't matter whether he's receiving analogue or digital - digital terrestrial now occupies the same piece of spectrum as analogue used to, so it will work with the same dimensions ie roughly 5 inches is a quarter wave at around 600 MHz and it'll work. Please not I have not resorted to insults, so maybe you could do the same.

Look up 'quarter wave groundplane antenna' in any radio textbook and you will see lots of designs that use a quarter wave monopole element working against a groundplane. This is what you'd get if you put a short (5 inches in this case) piece of wire in the antenna socket. The groundplane in this case would be provided by the TV chassis. It would work quite well, almost as good as the loop shown. 5 inches when used as a quarter wave would be centred on about 600 MHz, which is in the UHF TV band. BTW, an antenna of any kind would pick up digital or analogue signals, the antenna doesn't care.

звичайно, автор перегнув палку в назві "разблокирует все телеканалы || Усилитель антенны". Подібними назвами грішать майже 95% всіляких авторів в інтернеті. Підсилювач повинен включати цілий набір радіоелементів. А його "чудо" як допоміжний елемент у виборі деяких каналів, до того ж приймаються біля десятка каналів більш-менш якісних, інші так собі чи зовсім ніякі. Через конструктивні особливості така антена може приймати канали тільки з певною частотою та на відстані від транслятора не більше 15 км. Відносно алюмінієвої шапочки, схоже що Ви це спробували. І як, вийшло? Звиняйте, за такий же сарказм, як і Ваш відносно автора.

I haven't tried this because when i looked closely at the end of the footage, (right at the very end of the video) it appears that the video was edited...
First we can see the experimental coaxial cable plugged into the back of the tv, and then, immediately...there appears that the video was stopped & re-started, only to capture the channel's working as he uses the remote.
Take a look at the wall plugs, to the right side of the tv... Look through the back of the tv area to the wall plug, there are no plugs, and when he is using the remote to go through the channel's, you can see that the tv is 🔌 plugged in obviously and so is the standard coaxial cable plugged in above the tv 🔌
Why not do an automatic channel test to show how many channels you got like the genuine experiments that some do ?
It's not nice to deliberately deceive people like that.
This is why i won't bother testing it out.

Mal DVBT Kanälle probieren. Und Kurzschluss ist am Antenneneingang kaum möglich da durch ein Kondensator getrennt ist bis 300 Volt Spannung.
@@michaelscheidt3272 There was a break in the jacket in the middle of the loop, there shouldn't be a short. Before plugging it in, check the middle conductor to the jacket to be safe. But realistically, something like this would probably only pick up broadcasts very nearby.

I cant say its a good antenna. Maybe next time you can make the round part of the antenna more bigger, and use a longer cable.
One little problem is that the S band is used for Analog 'Cable' Tv. so the antenna isnt connected to the tv.

Das ist ein Lambada-Drei-Viertel-Dipol. Ich glaube für die Frequenz musst du die Schatten-Wurzel aus 2773 koaxial triangulieren. Ich bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher, zur Not fragts du einfach mal am Drive-in Schalter bei MCDonalds.

@@DIY86868 In the centre of the antenna socket. Assuming the TV transmissions are in the UHF band, a wire length of 5 inches would work well.
@@andyhowlett2231 Are you suggesting 5 inches would work well because this would make it a 'tuned' antenna. As an electronics engineer I can tell you what drivel this is ! It does form a loop antenna but 5 inches long wouldn't make it tuned to UHF or anything else in particular. There is no analog signal (in the UK) anymore anyway. If you instructed on how to make a dipole corresponding to a specific wavelength (1/2, 1/4, 1/8 wavelength) I would at least be on board with the theory. Plus as the last guy said, a piece of wire shoved in the centre of the coax plug may give you an output of something. Just very little gain.

A quarter-wave monopole antenna is one of the basic receiving antennas and works fine against a ground plane, which in this case is (roughly) provided by the TV chassis. Monopoles ARE frequency-conscious and resonate at a frequency dictated by their length. I suspect this one doesn't need much gain if the one shown works so well. All I'm saying is that he could receive almost as well with a much simpler antenna. BTW it doesn't matter whether he's receiving analogue or digital - digital terrestrial now occupies the same piece of spectrum as analogue used to, so it will work with the same dimensions ie roughly 5 inches is a quarter wave at around 600 MHz and it'll work. Please not I have not resorted to insults, so maybe you could do the same.

Look up 'quarter wave groundplane antenna' in any radio textbook and you will see lots of designs that use a quarter wave monopole element working against a groundplane. This is what you'd get if you put a short (5 inches in this case) piece of wire in the antenna socket. The groundplane in this case would be provided by the TV chassis. It would work quite well, almost as good as the loop shown. 5 inches when used as a quarter wave would be centred on about 600 MHz, which is in the UHF TV band. BTW, an antenna of any kind would pick up digital or analogue signals, the antenna doesn't care.
