We had to put my 36 year old palomino down this fall. I was having a ball that day until I got the call from Barb. My wife is a veterinarian and was an equestrian vet for years. When she says it is time, it’s time.
I totally forgot you told me that she was a vet. That is a hard job in itself, let along working on your own animals. I'm sorry to hear that, but I bet that was a good 36 years.
@@PheasantLaneFarm , after what you have been through since I’ve gotten to know you, I wonder if you even have a breaking point. Holy smoke Robert! Even at that, you have an amazing wife, daughter, and family supporting you. Plus a network of friends. Some you have never met. Some you may never meet.
Also so happy to hear kiddo is doing alright, and take it from me our young boy is goofy too but a sweetheart and I can assure you you're will bring you guys many more laughs and smiles to come!
So sorry to hear Robert. Coming from another horse owner I know how difficult it can be and leaving it all up to chance sometimes. We just brought our foal home a few months back he's about 9 now so if there is anything you guys need or want to vent or even just talk about im here bro. Stay strong and know what's important is you guys gave peaches the best life she could have had which is what counts.

Wow Robert! You guys have been through hell!
So sorry for your loss.
It's been a long few weeks. Thanks Gary.

Awesome video. Thank you. I did cry a bit. I'll miss my peaches. But Apollo is here to remind us of her.
Sorry for your loss Robert. Apollo looks like he is doing great and I hope he continues to grow and prosper. Take care sir and God bless!

Thank you, that means a lot. Sometimes things just don't work out and all you can do is know you gave them the best life you could.
I absolutely agree my friend. And very well said as always.
