Wonderful. 😊 I was just pointing out pineapple weed to my 9 year old son. He just loves flowers and was pleased by the fragrance. Unfortunately, the one growing in my garden has bountiful leaves but only a couple of flower heads. I would love to collect enough to make some tea. Who couldn't use a good night's sleep!☕😊

I love this plant for all the reasons you mentioned and also for another. It makes a great natural deodorant.

Always look forward to your videos! Halfway through I went outside to see could I find any. I think it's around here but not in my back yard. However, your videos always leads me to another something and today that something was Ragweed. I've heard of it so much but never knew exactly what it was, just that some allergy sufferers hate it. Lo and behold it is actually very nutritious, I never knew! Do you have Ragweed way up there? Thanks for the info, and inspiration! :) Loving your book:)

Hi Karen! Ah thank you so much! Ragweed can cause so much upset for some people so it should never be eaten by those with seasonal allergies. Also, only small quantities to be on the safe side!! The seeds are very healthy for those without allergies.

@@karenstephenson7830 Thanks for the info. Not bothered with allergies at all, think I want to sample a little. The dishes I've prepared since incorporating wild edibles have been elevated to another level. Really amazing how it wakes up a meal. Even my reluctant better half is having to admit the improvement! Thanks for helping in that regard, btw. :)

I love this Karen! Would it be possible to move this to a different location in my yard? We have several “lawn” areas that are bald , dry and patchy. I am starting a wildflower garden in those areas and figure it couldn’t hurt to try, along with many other wildflowers and wild edibles on our woodland property.

Thank you Caroline! Why not try to transplant!? It may die back this year but could make a come back next year?

Lol... my mother used to tell me not to eat rowan berries (mountain ash) - meanwhile they make great jelly!

I see a lot of this plant in Spain , but always the flowers are Bright Yellow, with sometimes a touch of Red.
Is there a close lookalike ?

May help teach don't pick in a junk area like that, they pull toxins from soil easily, i make a tea of this for my garden plant, creates good soil bacterium and mineral boost, nitrogen fixer
