Another sad fact about Watame (but with a happy end) that she referenced in a stream is her family situation, besides what you mentioned. Her dad got her mom pregnant and he didn't want to have her, so he told her to get an abortion (they're legal in Japan until a certain point in the gestation, and beyond that, if you know the right people, they'll kill the baby and ask no questions, I personally know of some gruesome cases but I'll not give details). Her mom immediately dumped his sorry ass and had Watame. She worked really hard, 2 jobs every day, to provide for her, so Watame pretty much grew up with her grandparents. Watame wants to buy a house to her mom to thank her for all the effort she put in.

Hololive originally advertised that talent only had to do minimum 3 streams a week commitment and implied that its a role that you can juggle with side jobs and school/training. Kaela was still working her job and going to school, Calli said she was still working several jobs when she started and didn't realise how popular it got. Bae and Mumei were still in school when they started, the juggle effected Sana. Even their current employment pages show a company with all the benefits of flexibility, but still under-estimates the popularity and success new talent will rise to in quick order.

It was such a fun ride down the memory lane, it's hard to believe I've been around in this community for three long and enduring years. It feels like it was yesterday when I first watched a holoclip, the first time I saw a livestream from one of the girls...it's been such a fun journey seeing things like PekoMoon's first ever interaction, getting my eardrums blown by Haachama's Blessing while she builds the HoloCoaster in the first server, hearing Watame talking about her past and how she struggled with depression and the lack of will to live as I cried like a little kid, or even more recent watching the Myth debut and laughing at the scuff and multiple shenanigans following their debuts... Watching Kiara flirt endlessly with Calli will always be a core memory of those days, just like I will always remember how Tenchou cried when reading a SC of a Chimkin with terminal cancer and her words of "you're a phoenix too" really making me cry, just like I cried when Ina broke down in the Smol Collab and said to the girls "I just want to give you girls real hugs one day" It's been a adventure full of fun moments, meetings and the sad departures, and I will cherish every single memory for as long as I live, and I will remember the cute and psychotic Neko-mancer, the Dragon who got high on sleeping meds on stream and that forever changed the VTuber scene, the BEEG Space Lady that loves bread just as much as she loves space, and that we unfortunately didn't had a long time to spend together with...just as I will remember all the other members, until my final day on Ze Ass.

Another fact about Kanata is that she has a degenerative condition in her inner ear (probably Meniere's) and she has lost pretty much all hearing from one ear. In the long term she might lose hearing in the other one, so she's doing the best of her situation and working hard now. It could be decades, it could be never that she loses all hearing so let's cherish her.

This is a really well-done video, I must say. Do you think we could see one with the Holostars (maybe something like a shorter 50 fact video)? Also, he once spent a hurricane in a bar. -Machina X Flayon and Nijisanji EN's Doppio Dropscythe are very good friends that, according to them, went to high school together. And one Holo x Niji EN fact that you missed: -Mumei and Nijisanji EN's Selen Tatsuki are also really good friends. In fact, since they both got their acceptance letters at the same time, they both thought they would be co-workers, Mumei thinking Selen got into Hololive and vice versa.

Another sad fact about Watame (but with a happy end) that she referenced in a stream is her family situation, besides what you mentioned. Her dad got her mom pregnant and he didn't want to have her, so he told her to get an abortion (they're legal in Japan until a certain point in the gestation, and beyond that, if you know the right people, they'll kill the baby and ask no questions, I personally know of some gruesome cases but I'll not give details). Her mom immediately dumped his sorry ass and had Watame. She worked really hard, 2 jobs every day, to provide for her, so Watame pretty much grew up with her grandparents. Watame wants to buy a house to her mom to thank her for all the effort she put in.
She loved her Grandparents and mother so much... I hope her mom's boyfriend is a good person though.

Hololive originally advertised that talent only had to do minimum 3 streams a week commitment and implied that its a role that you can juggle with side jobs and school/training.
Kaela was still working her job and going to school, Calli said she was still working several jobs when she started and didn't realise how popular it got. Bae and Mumei were still in school when they started, the juggle effected Sana. Even their current employment pages show a company with all the benefits of flexibility, but still under-estimates the popularity and success new talent will rise to in quick order.

When I thought I know a lot about Hololive, it's still fun to learn something new. This video have been very educational.
It was such a fun ride down the memory lane, it's hard to believe I've been around in this community for three long and enduring years.
It feels like it was yesterday when I first watched a holoclip, the first time I saw a livestream from one of the girls...it's been such a fun journey seeing things like PekoMoon's first ever interaction, getting my eardrums blown by Haachama's Blessing while she builds the HoloCoaster in the first server, hearing Watame talking about her past and how she struggled with depression and the lack of will to live as I cried like a little kid, or even more recent watching the Myth debut and laughing at the scuff and multiple shenanigans following their debuts...
Watching Kiara flirt endlessly with Calli will always be a core memory of those days, just like I will always remember how Tenchou cried when reading a SC of a Chimkin with terminal cancer and her words of "you're a phoenix too" really making me cry, just like I cried when Ina broke down in the Smol Collab and said to the girls "I just want to give you girls real hugs one day"
It's been a adventure full of fun moments, meetings and the sad departures, and I will cherish every single memory for as long as I live, and I will remember the cute and psychotic Neko-mancer, the Dragon who got high on sleeping meds on stream and that forever changed the VTuber scene, the BEEG Space Lady that loves bread just as much as she loves space, and that we unfortunately didn't had a long time to spend together with...just as I will remember all the other members, until my final day on Ze Ass.

In the long term she might lose hearing in the other one, so she's doing the best of her situation and working hard now. It could be decades, it could be never that she loses all hearing so let's cherish her.

The final part is a bit wrong, there was never such a thing as a tech company called Hololive, the agency didn't even exist at the time Sora and Robopon debuted, Hololive was the name of a mobile streaming app from the company Cover.corp Sora's existence was to promote that app and the rest that Cover marketed, that's why generation 0 exists, those 5 girls were already there doing separate projects and they all "gathered" in gen 0 at the time of create the agency as what it is now with the arrival of Gen 1

So this information was directly from the Hololive introduction video back in 2018-2019. But to also clarify, yes Hololive was a live streaming app, but it was lievstreaming AR technology and augmented 2D.
