They might have mentioned "we support you in your other identity too" as a side mention, and that was it, the message would have come across equally well and it doesn't risk her getting even more doxed. Plenty of people in South Korea have a more than decent level of English, so someone could have overheard.
It's possible that they did, but she simply wanted to tell the story as Kiara, so she altered the story a bit. Of course it's just as easily possible they don't know her other identity, despite it being one of the most well known (Calli's is likely the most well known).
