One of the most disgusting cases of corporate corruption I've ever seen. My heart goes out to all those falsely accused by the Post Office of theft and their families. When will we see Paula Vennells in court?

When we will see her in prison?

Wait a moment - Horizon was originally put in place by her predecessor who must also face the full force of justice.

There's a strong suggestion now that the Post Office and Fujitsu knew about the problems and covered up the truth - despite what they knew it was doing to innocent lives. If this is true, those responsible need to be prosecuted and imprisoned.

They won't be. The justice system of this country is about anything BUT justice. It's a game played by poncy public school types and we just pieces on their intellectual chessboards.

We now know that Vennels commissioned a report which detailed the problems but chose to keep the findings of that report to herself.

Criminal action needs to commence against Paula Vennells. If she is found guilt a proceeds of crime order should be made to recover all payments she received at the PO.These should then be used to help people and families affected by her coverup.

This was a Post Office “adventure” a problem. The historical management at the Post Office needs to be held accountable.
The lawyers will laugh all the way to the bank!

Not just corporate corruption. The courts have A LOT to answer for. Judges need to be summoned before Parliament to explain their abject failures.

Being described as "Unfortunate" is bloody disgusting. It went on in the 90s for god sake and still hasn't been rectified. Only in the U:K: does this happen. First denail, them blame the soldiers then perhaps as here decades later addmission. When Johnson was being grilled at the commission his lawyer fees were paid by the tax payer. UK FUCKIN STINKS. I don't normally swear but here I will.

No, the Court of Appeal should liken it to a Stalinesque regime, where evidence is fixed, and dissidents removed . Many Victorian factory owners were ahead of their time in terms of working conditions, pay, facilities. These lawyers clearly prefer ideology and marxism over history.

Even in the House of Lords, bull shitting and avoiding the true issues, what about those that got prison sentences for alleged fraudulently stealing???
Why have their convictions been quashed and their compensation been mentioned?

You don't think that no amount of compensation could compensate for those who lost their lives???? So, what are you going to give, nothing? How about giving it a go, like £1m, and then saying that no amount of compensation could compensate for those who lost their lives, but I hope this £1m goes some way to help. Shifty looking character.

In 1998-2004 there wasn't a person in the UK who used a PC who had not experienced the blue screen of death - [windows98/windowsNT etc]. There was not an office in the UK which was not acutely aware of this unstable operating system. If the Horizon terminals were not falling over and having to be re-booted everyday - this would have been a major item of news. To think the post office could avoid this is laughable. Without custodial sentences for the perpetrators of this conspiracy - the UK will become more lawless. At the time, if the post office had gone to apple and asked it to develop 'Apple for Post office' - they may indeed have had a stable system but this would have been expensive and post office were already trapped in a toxic relationship with Fujitsu. It was a hoax, perpetrated by Post Office leadership and it was carried out 2000-2010. A ten year fraud/extortion operation.
