This is the kit I’ve decided on due to my amputation ,I had an adaption done myself for thirty odd year braking with my heel ,. But I’m going back in to off road riding ,so currently it’s going on my Honda four hundred super four ,small adaption needed for handler clearance but have that covered mechanically adept .so the thought off removing it and using it on dirt bike for weekends wasn’t gonna be a hassle .but I’ve thought about the benefits off the clutch doubling up via break so I am gonna buy two ,you lucky dudes .but great bit off kit .cheers .
Installed the Core EXP and LHRB on my 2017 KTM 305sxf. They work AWESOME! Due to an injury I have a very difficult time reliably hitting the rear brake with my foot. With the clutch and brake combo I can use the back brake EVERY time I need it without the worry of stalling also. On the big downhill at Glen Helen it was SO nice to know I was going to be able to use the back brake. I can do basic work on my bike and the installation was easy and went just as described in the video and manual. The clutch is great, but it is a little strange coming to a stop and not having pull in the clutch. You get use to it quickly though. My speed has increased, but more important, my confidence is much higher just knowing I can always have the rear brake also. Thanks! Great products!
Just finished installing. Was a piece of cake and I have Amateur mechanical skills. One thing I did, I routed the LHRB line behind my shock as the line was longer than needed. Bike: 2015 KTM 300XC.
Take a pair of vice grips, pinch the brake line after the banjo bolt (firmer the better), pump release pump release, only one man needed. Congratulations, you just made a one way valve. This allows fluid down but not back up. Also works great for hydraulic clutch bleeding
Hi, I purchased the Rekluse rear hand brake and the Enduro Engineering brake light switch for my 2018 KTM 300 XCW. The Banjo Bolt is too small for the EE Banjo bolt that is necessary to run the brake lights. Is there an option to make these work in concert with each other?
Hello Not4u, thank you for watching our video and responding. We are only offering the silver lever in our kits now. If you need anything, please feel free to contact our Customer Support Team - Customerservice@rekluse.com. Thank you!
i'd ask if your kit that fits the '02 Honda CR250R could also fit a '00 CR250R with some alteration if necessary, but it doesn't look like anyone's questions are being answered here by Rekluse...
Big spoops I haven’t heard of an auto clutch (used to race moto back in the late 90’s and am just getting back into riding) so I’ll have to check that out. Thanks for letting me know. 🤙
Hi guys have been trying to buy a service kit for brake kit , mainly o rings (53.1 & 53.2) or if you could advise on both sizes ? Many thanks pat from UK🤘
Hey Pat, thank you for reaching out. Our international business is done through our distributor network. Our distributor in the UK, CI Sport, will be able to help you get your O rings. Their email is sales@cisport.co.uk and their website is www.cisport.co.uk
Anyone know of a source of info on REMOVING a rear hand brake set-up? Just bought a used bike with one and don't want it. The pedal is still hooked up in addition to the Magura lever unit. The hydraulic line feeds into the rear cylinder with a banjo bolt. Can I just pull the line and banjo bolt and plug the hole with an identically threaded stainless steel bolt and o-ring?
Hi there, thank you for reaching out. We are currently in the process of a redesign of our brake kits, so the model shown in this video is no longer available. The new kit should be ready some time after the first of the year

I went to like it but had to stop myself to keep it at 666. I think I'm just gonna use a cable brake off a bicycle to pull on the end of the foot brake lever on my $500 dirtbike project, but I really like the idea of having a hand actuated rear brake for tricky descents.

21AirDrop where did you get this from ?
TeMPeR Reboundz Rocky Mountain ATV/MC
If only bleeding was this easy! I fought mine for a couple hours, and I still have jack squat for pressure at the LHRB.
zip tie your brake lever in the on position over night
I'm in the same boat. About to throw this POS rear brake setup in the trash.
I'm here for my ktm ebike lmao.
So I can wheelie it
Take a pair of vice grips, pinch the brake line after the banjo bolt (firmer the better), pump release pump release, only one man needed.
Congratulations, you just made a one way valve.
This allows fluid down but not back up.
Also works great for hydraulic clutch bleeding

do you have a kit like this for ktm 690 smc ? 2010
realy nice produc !!!
Why would you want to move your rear brake to above your clutch unless you’re disabled or something???
The point is you have a rekluse auto clutch so you dont need to use the clutch and just have a rear brake in its place
Big spoops I haven’t heard of an auto clutch (used to race moto back in the late 90’s and am just getting back into riding) so I’ll have to check that out. Thanks for letting me know. 🤙

The kit replaces the brake cylinder cap - did the previous owner still have the stock cap somewhere? If not, should be a pretty cheap part.
Do you still get to keep the back brake peddle on it
Amy Bavaro yes, but i took it off
can you give some more ideas when having a soft pressure point?
Is this powerful enough to stunt
MBKStunter test
SonOfGod no money for just testing it
No
for stunts i would recommend a separate 2 piston caliper
I have a ktm 500 2018 , where can I buy one of theses?
Hi there, thank you for reaching out. We are currently in the process of a redesign of our brake kits, so the model shown in this video is no longer available. The new kit should be ready some time after the first of the year

Hey Andre, thank you for reaching out. Currently we do not have an application for your LTR 450

It barely works on a dirt bike. I wouldn't trust it on my kids trike.
Will just work on a 96 Yamaha Royal Star 1300

The reservoir on this model is integrated into the rear master cylinder
Can i use this to do Supermoto stunts?
Yeah they go out after a few seasons and reckluse doesn’t make the parts for their old ones. Steer clear

Where to buy?
Kyle Pinder website or retailer
it would be better if the pedals behind .. later pressed thumb .. like pressing the horn
this mod is similar to a junction valve mod
At first I thought it was double calipers
can't believe there's no link lol
So did he have a Hand and a Pedal brake??
JanusOnFire yes
I went to like it but had to stop myself to keep it at 666.
I think I'm just gonna use a cable brake off a bicycle to pull on the end of the foot brake lever on my $500 dirtbike project, but I really like the idea of having a hand actuated rear brake for tricky descents.
