I'm still waiting for Disney to hire these guys. In 10 minutes, they gave everything that makes a Star Wars film: badass villains, elegant lighstaber duels, a simple but efficient storyline - preferably including at least one traitor, temptation of the dark side, etc. All with 2006 amateur tools.
a couple of things... first off this is brilliant the only thing i didnt like about it was the poor quality video. but that in no means factor into it over all. as far as im concerned the story is all that matters and it was very well done and also that padawan was boss, killing a number of sith and a master solo. awesome work guys
Well, this movie was made in 2006. Quality was hard to get on RUclips videos back then. And yeah, the acting is kind of cheesey, but the story is cool and it's not half bad.
I know that this comment is late and that this is just a fan film, but I can guarantee that if this was real that Padawan would be immediately knighted and on the same day become a Master and maybe even get a seat on the council

In any event, the blade work was above average, though I would personally caution against the jumping dodge of the leg sweep as it looked very inauthentic. I really like how the lead Sith duelist (purple saber) had a mix of Maul and Galen Marek as far as battle style is concerned. Very stylishly done

That would’ve been awesome if they added this to canon plus the Sith Lord known as Jood Disartha should be the same species as lobo from the superman comic books
I was always hoping that the Mohawk guy would survive. I'm glad that he did. He had the coolest hairstyle. Great video, loved the Force Lightning effects.
It didn't make sense to me that they landed and immediately blew off their mission to go to sleep, they could have slept on the ship on the way there. Every planet has a different day/night cycle too....good effects and choreography, purple saber guy kicked ass!
What always kills those fanmovies is the acting. And yeah, use a glowing stick in the night and tell your student to be quiet so the enemy won't notice you, that makes sense.
THe guy with the purple lightsaber holds it like a derper. He's like "Hmmm. The darkside is strong with me. Let me make myself look like a dumbass by holding this saber across my body behind my back."

Final Cut Studio and Motion, on the Apple Mac. Cost £800 i think tho. My friend gave me it woohoo! You have to do the sound yourself too, with short audio clips. Look for videos by "AppleShakeGuru" they're outstanding
sure the camera was very poor and the sound wasn't very good, but overall it was a fun fight with an alright story. watching the purple sabered sith cut through Jedi was cool to watch, as he seemed to aim more tords killing them quickly rather then engaging in battle, this technique was also seen in his master which made the fight much more believable.. the Mohawk kid was alittle too lucky though but his master saving him using his force ghost abilities was a very good idea and really brought my mind to the original trilogy. the opening was also well done.
that was quite a video, although i must say there should have been a mission closure with the counselmen or somthing. and why darth dishartha turned around was kind of dumb. but still a great video
A couple weeks ago I used AI software which will be an increase of resolution from 240p to 720p! It turned out better than I'd expected. I'll release it around May the 4th, 2021. I might make some additional small changes before the release towards the goal of remastering. (No "special edition" types of changes, just polishing the source a bit using today's tools.) Thanks for your comments! I hope you'll enjoy the remastered release once it's out!
