IKR? I saw 3 in the Afternoon and 6 in the Morning when I was 12 - 13. I was obsessed with fan films like these, and they were my first exposure to Star Wars fandom moving into adolescence.
2:25 - I remember watching this when it first came out. Being only a month away from my 11th birthday then, I remember feeling sad that I’d have to wait another year to be old enough to have this “real lightsaber.” Now I’m 24, and I’m still waiting for these lightsabers. Thank you for being a part of my childhood Travis.
Missing you guys even after nearly 13 years. Still hope to one day see Nine in the Evening be released, but life happens of course, and we know you guys moved on to do bigger and better things, so it's understandable if it's the end of this story. Just know that wherever life may take you, we will always have your back.
I remember watching these when I was younger. This series and the Ryan vs Dorkmam were the OGs for me. I did my waiting, 13 years of it...I guess we'll just have to wonder about 9 in the evening
Rediscovering this every few years or so is always an amazing treat. I'm sad that NitE may never happen, but I'm glad that we have these to come back to. :)
Almost 10 years , where's the sequel? Also, two Star Wars movies have been made through the time has passed. (Edit: November 2019: please make another one of these wherever guys you are!) (Edit: April 2023: it’s been 15 years now)
Excellent. The best fan video I've seen so far. A good plot and decent acting makes all the difference here compared to some of the other videos of just fights or productions done in people's living rooms alone.
NINE IN THE EVENING!!! I don't want to wait any longer, but I know that if I'm patient, I (we) will all be treated to a jaw-dropping fan-made spectacle. Good work guys! More please!! :D
Are we EVER going to find out about what happened with that truckload of lightsabers... and them suggesting the lightsaber recall at Skywalker Ranch...?
Probably not, but even if Lucas Film did release those lightsabers. You can bet your nickels that parents would be suing knowing that those lightsabers can hack off limbs or even decapitate their son or daughters head. (child safety chip or not).
Simply amazing. Great choreography and effects, acting was good (felt awkward here and there), dont stop doing what you are doing, these are simply awesome.
I really liked this series. I can picture it happening, though I would suspect in reality that they'd send lawyers next. The one thing stronger than the dark side. :)
We could do that, but I seriously doubt it'll take place at Skywalker Ranch, as Travis teased at the end of this installment. Or WOULD Lucas agree to it??? I guess anything's possible, there have been famous people appear in RUclips videos before (e.g., Maculay Culkin in AVGN).
15 years on. Still waiting for Nine in the Evening. High school, university, job, house, girlfriend and a Disney takeover and destructing of the franchise later since this came out.
So bloody awesome!!!! I noticed Ryan and Dorkman are part of this production also. You know it's gotta be good if they're involved. Thank you for this great Fan Film. I'm so impressed.
I remeber a couple years ago i found this on the internet, i wnated to relive the momories so i looked it up again and found that they made two new ones. I watched them and all i have to say is.....awesome
This is possibly the best backyard starwars movie i've ever seen... and I think without doubt you guys can take this somewhere. It's SO cool. I don't think i've ever seen something so cool. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! :)
This is so freaking awesome! I can't believe I dissed part 1 for the name alone without even watching it...in all seriousness though, six In the Morning IS a song by Let The Games Begin. But who cares when it's this good!?
It's pretty clearly demonstrated in Three in the Afternoon that the lightsabers can change colors, and/or aren't bound by the color associated with the original hilt.
I'm your fan movie makers & actors AND special effect engineer :) Put this on film contest, here I say this is a great work with a constant good actions and fairly balanced storyline.
wow that was really good i just got finished watching all three of them i love it ... gotta make a third one this will be a epic saga .... ps that was really cool
It’s a shame that this series was seemingly discontinued. It had a solid premise and likable characters. Perhaps if Travis returns to filmmaking someday we’ll see a conclusion.
I, too, typically won when my brothers and I sparred as children, both in lightsaber combat and swordplay, although I typically performed better in swords. Unfortunately, my development stagnated, because I couldn't defend my right leg. It would get grazed, which forced a limp, and then I would use a single move over and over wherein I would wave my blade and strike in a random area aggressively. No one could ever stop me, so pretty much all duels went the same way. It was unfortunate.
Thirteen years later... I still want Nine In The Evening
Me to
“Jedike” probably would’ve gotten them canceled 🤣
The force has awakened travis...Nine in the Evening must awaken too.
Hunter Hoehn agreed
Still watching in 2020, the nostalgia is strong with me!
Right? This was the shit back in the day, still is.
IKR? I saw 3 in the Afternoon and 6 in the Morning when I was 12 - 13. I was obsessed with fan films like these, and they were my first exposure to Star Wars fandom moving into adolescence.
I'm still waiting too
2024 this is nostalgic for me

I can't believe I'm watching Jim Davis and Johnathan Pruitt from WebDM having a lightsaber duel. I am so happy right now and this is hilarious :)
The smile he has is just too funny. He is so proud of his skills with a lightsaber.
Lol

"This is my lightsaber. There are many like it but this one is mine." - Awesome FMJ reference. Good job boys, keep it up!
Missing you guys even after nearly 13 years. I watched this like back in 2010 when I was 8, I can't believe it's been so long. Hurry up with a new one!
me too man
I was age 11 or age 12 when I saw this
I remember watching these when I was younger. This series and the Ryan vs Dorkmam were the OGs for me.
I did my waiting, 13 years of it...I guess we'll just have to wonder about 9 in the evening
Star Wars fanbase was awesome back in those days
We will get our answers soon!
@@TREVORVADER Uhh...no it wasn't. Everyone was shitting on the prequels, bullying Ahmed Best and Harry Loyd.
This is awesome. Those of us who came here from Web DM willmiss you and your amazing work on the show. God speed and good luck Travis.
The fact that Travis just wanted his friends back is just so sweet, because they didn't talk to each other for a month.
Ended up rewatching this and really really sad that they never did Nine in the Evening.
A shame this ended where it did
Had the potential to be an amazing fan series
Big fan of 3 in the afternoon and six in the morning. Can't wait till 9 in the evening. Corey is my favorite character. Pruitt makes me laugh.
Gonna be honest here, I forgot this existed for a while. Feels like watching an early Kevin Smith movie. Totally worth it.
Really ?
Rediscovering this every few years or so is always an amazing treat. I'm sad that NitE may never happen, but I'm glad that we have these to come back to. :)
"You ever heard of the Apocalypse? Ragnaraok, Seals and Beasts and the end of it all - this is it, in my hands" That's one badass line!
No doubt!
It's so fucking badass!
I can't believe I actually found these 10 years later.
"Im gonna set his flannel shirt fire!" Awsome line
Corey Wan Kenobi, Princess Neightbour and Master Qui gon Travis. You guys are awesome! Please keep it up!
These guys have a winner. This could easily become a fanboy movie, or youtube series.
I totally agree! This is by far the best star wars fan made film I have ever seined since revenge of the sith.
You guys are GODS!!!!!!!!!!!! Your acting is better than many films I've seen!!!!!!
Almost 10 years , where's the sequel? Also, two Star Wars movies have been made through the time has passed.
(Edit: November 2019: please make another one of these wherever guys you are!)
(Edit: April 2023: it’s been 15 years now)
Pruitt is on web dm
Excellent. The best fan video I've seen so far. A good plot and decent acting makes all the difference here compared to some of the other videos of just fights or productions done in people's living rooms alone.
How does this still only have 1 million views?
this is the best RUclips series ever!!!!!!!!!!.
Been waiting on "Nine In The Evening" for years!!! What's going on with it?!
12 years on. Still waiting. Been through high school and college since first watching this...come onnnn!!!
And so my watch begins....for the 12th year in a row....still waiting.
NINE IN THE EVENING!!!
I don't want to wait any longer, but I know that if I'm patient, I (we) will all be treated to a jaw-dropping fan-made spectacle. Good work guys!
More please!! :D
I love this show please make the next one
Still love these over 10 years later!
Still waiting for Nine in the Evening!
I *LOVE* Three in the Afternoon and Six in the Morning ;) PERFECT fan video. MEN, I hope there will be "Nine in the Evening" :)
I remember watching this as a kid lol memories 😁
"He'd better send out a recall order, or I am going to set his flannel shirt on fire!!!" LOL Cute guys, really cute!
Yo know what would help 2020? . . .
"Nine in the Evening"
Still waiting on nine in the evening. These three fan films are Ledgendary in you ask me.
If you're watching in 2023. You're a real one.
I am
Now in 2024
I hope I can get a real lightsaber
I can’t believe the fight choreography here is miles better than the Star Wars sequel trilogy
"And then you're gonna tell me where I can find a decent steak in this town at 1AM." lol
Nah, those lawyers would get hacked to pieces so fucking fast by the fans.
Ah, finally the sequel! Great job!
Make a Kickstarter or indiegogo for 9 in the evening. I'm sure we could raise the dough for it easily
Trying to get Macaulay Culkin to cameo and trying to get George Lucas to let you film on his property are two vastly different things.
LOL that many vs. one battle is such an awesome salute to the Shredder fight at the end of the first ninja turtles movie! I love it :)
Hey Travis when is nine in the evening coming out cos I’m a huge Star Wars fan
Me too
2020 and Nine in the Evening didn’t and probably will never happen, but at least we got these two great films.
Tony Torres agreed. Shame they never made it happen though
So it looks like Travis is in jail for robbery with a lightsaber
WONDERFUL !!!
I can think of no other way to describe it...
Wasn't there some sort of crowd-funding thing for the next one? What ever happened to that, Travis?
What a cool little movie.
Really nice work.
Better than Episode 7
that was the greatest star wars fan film ever.
nooooo
15 years on. Still waiting for Nine in the Evening. High school, university, job, house, girlfriend and a Disney takeover and destructing of the franchise later since this came out.
Web DM send me here .
Best lightsaber movies ever.
They are so slow
So bloody awesome!!!! I noticed Ryan and Dorkman are part of this production also. You know it's gotta be good if they're involved. Thank you for this great Fan Film. I'm so impressed.
Classic internet stuff here! Thank you for the contribution and for being so incredibly awesome!
Amazing! Props to whoever did the sound, the backgrounds and ADR were great.
I remeber a couple years ago i found this on the internet, i wnated to relive the momories so i looked it up again and found that they made two new ones. I watched them and all i have to say is.....awesome
16 years later, and we still want a sequel. Amazing!
Probably best for not a sequel

This is so freaking awesome! I can't believe I dissed part 1 for the name alone without even watching it...in all seriousness though, six In the Morning IS a song by Let The Games Begin. But who cares when it's this good!?
MAN THIS IS AN AWSOME SERIES
It's pretty clearly demonstrated in Three in the Afternoon that the lightsabers can change colors, and/or aren't bound by the color associated with the original hilt.
Who's watching in 2019 12 years later
Here.
I dunno how I found this in the first place but I am glad I did!
Oh I so love this. We need a third movie.
I love your films because they remind me of Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz + Ryan vs. Dorkman or Star Wars in general. Great job!
I'm your fan movie makers & actors AND special effect engineer :) Put this on film contest, here I say this is a great work with a constant good actions and fairly balanced storyline.
Can’t wait for nine in the evening
wow that was really good i just got finished watching all three of them i love it ... gotta make a third one this will be a epic saga .... ps that was really cool
Love the Ghostbusters "heat 'em up" line!
Best plot development of any SW fan film anywhere.
Travis confronts Jim (9:51 - 10:25)
It’s a shame that this series was seemingly discontinued. It had a solid premise and likable characters. Perhaps if Travis returns to filmmaking someday we’ll see a conclusion.
Perhaps...
@@guildmastercharlie8881 I mean this felt like a conclusion to me
