Reuniting the director, writer and stars of Forrest Gump, Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the most relatable of human experiences. Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Castaway, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Contact, Back to the Future) directs from a screenplay by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Killers of the Flower Moon, Dune, A Star is Born) and him. Told much in the style of the acclaimed graphic novel by Richard McGuire on which it is based, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright star in a tale of love, loss, laughter and life, all of which happen right Here.

I'm glad to see Robert Zemeckis continuing to push cinema in unique ways. Even if it does end up being bad, it's still guaranteed to be something of an experience

This is a movie for those of us who have lived life.
Zemeckis is a genius of a director!
It is Richard McGuire’s brilliant graphic novel Here-his life’s work. The original graphic novel is cool, unemotional, and cerebral. It is not a tissue soaking love story.
My man Zemeckis is upping tissues' share price. I'm so here for it!
It reminds me of "we didn't start the fire" video. Following one couple through several generations.
This is very different and very creative to pull something like this off. What a vision this man has, and to share what's behind his lens. You can't beat originality, something that hollywood film makers lack. I look forward to seeing this.

It is the most precious thing in our lives, time!
This is Robert Zemeckis' only chance to have a movie that the public likes and criticizes after a streak of decent and bad movies. And I'm surprised that you bring the Forrest Gump team here, I mean, there's Tom Hanks and Robin Wright after Forrest Gump, Eric Roth wrote the script and Zemeckis directing and co-writing. I just hope he achieves it with this movie :)
His only chance? Lol. You do realize the man is wealthy enough to buy his own studio and make whatever movie he wants to, right?
@@harley2704 I say this because he made the live action of The Witches and Pinocchio, and well, with that film he made Zemeckis look bad, and well, you know why I say that it is his opportunity to give a film that is successful in critics and audiences.
@@diegoperleche5177 he has made over 25 films and out of all of them 2 did not do well so what he is still a director that studios would choose to hire for project's and the last film he did was also made during or around the Pandemic causing delays and other things

Its a really interesting and unique idea, but it also will be difficult to pull off without it seeming gimmicky. Its essentially more of a play than a movie.

I love the concept. I'm curious to see how Zemeckis and his team adapted the book, which has little dialogue and very minimalist graphics. It seems from the trailers that it was more of a jumping-off point for something more involved, while still maintaining the original single viewpoint perspective.

@@Younme21x1917 had no cuts and won an award for best cinematography when literally it had been done before. While this movie is based on the book, it has never been done on the big screen before so it’s truly something that could bring many people to try something new and appreciate originality

They are using Richard McGuire’s brilliant graphic novel idea, one that came together after decades of work… into Forrest Gump 2, without openly giving credit to the author….I hope they paid McGuire well.
Please be a good film. I love Tom and Robin, I love Bob and his films, don’t mess this up. It actually looks not only good, but extremely promising. I want to route for Zemeckis so I hope this turns out to be the touching and beautiful film that it looks to be.

I want Artificial Intelligence shut down at every TV, Movie & Animation Studio, Restaurants, & anywhere in America, except for the military, the hospitals & laboratories.
they are not using A.I rather taking 3D scans of the actors in various Rolls and interviews from all possible angles in real time and reconstructing them and applying them to what i assume is a 3D mesh overlayed on to the current day actors face and it is then seamlessly blending though this is what i assume they are doing based on the video above

I want to like this, however i’m fearful that it’s another theme with incredible potential for ideas and story depth; being destroyed by some director or self righteous smug actor/actress who feels the need to preach to people. Is this going to be a dei film? A pride film? a blm film? Or will it be a human film. Tom Hanks went from, what I considered to be a decent guy, to become another Hollywood preacher lecturing the rest of the World with his version of right &wrong, along with his version of politics. Please please let this just be a fun simple heartbreaking&heartwarming film. Ohh and go stuff your views about society and politics. Leave people the hell alone and stop lecturing.
Richard Linklater did this, but didn't have to rely on wonky special effects to manipulate people's faces to age or de-age. This movie looks terrible.

So they used AI for the deaging, film editing, and a snippet for all scenes..in which characters say the word “here”…yeah, since the 2023 strike… this film should be boycotted. It’s part of the issue!
well, they are using a new generative artificial intelligence technology called Metaphysic Live to face-swap and de-age the actors in real time as they perform instead of using additional post-production processing methods and the actors would have given there Permission and this film and stuff was done before the strikes begun
