He touched so many hearts and in that way when he left he filled all those hearts with sadness but that sadness was not only because of him it is also the sadness that we had in our hearts but was hidden, he brought it up to the surface, so that we can heal. I think we owe it all to him to celebrate life and live it to the fullest, we owe it to him to iliuminate the darkness and make this world brighter just the way he did and to love in such a way that when we die our love continues.

Same here, I hated music initially. I in some 4th grade had brought a friend's pendrive home to get GTA vice city. He had Somewhere I belong, Numb, leave out all the rest and figure 9 in it. Out of curiosity I played them in the background while playing the game, not really paying attention to the song at all. then, I just thought I'd listen carefully once and plugged in my earphones. I was stuck to my laptop for hours playing those four songs over and over. All these years, I've only Listened to Linkin Park, Dead By Sunrise (Chester's side project) and Fort Minor (mike's). I truly looked up to him and his voice has always pulled me out from the darkest and deepest of pits I had fallen into. I'm completely not able to get over the fact that he's no longer here. I'm missing my hero so much. Come back, Chester

It took me three and a half years to bring myself to listen to this. I didn‘t wanna hear a different version of the song. Today I was thinking a lot about Chester and felt that I was ready for it. Thank you Steve Aoki. You were able to make a song that was pure melancholy and sadness to me into an uplifting one.❤️ Even though it feels unreal even years later, it helped me look back more positively.
