- This is how to paint concrete floors For an awesome DIY makeover. Painting concrete floors is an easy , cheap and fast way to completely transform an area in as little as a few hours. Very simple to complete with professional result. Whether its a garage, patio, driveway or any other space this is how to do it yourself. The product I'm using is from white knights called ultra pave, they have both water and oil based products and for a low purchase price this product works great. Hi Bill do you have any advice what I can use inside my property I have cocorete floors that are really cold and in the winter over the concorete is my underlay carpet then carpet but in the winter the corners of the rooms are getting wet and damp with a lot of moisture I was thinking to paint the floor with a damp proof paint or maybe a resin like garage floor and like your video do you think this will help reduce the coldness thanks

My concrete floor is much rougher. Raw lumpy concrete. Sally doubt i could get this result. Brilliant job

Hi mate just a quick tip- if you wanna reuse that same tray- you can just put it inside a plastic bag. Actually a pretty nice hack I saw. Love your work mate :)

Nice. I plan to do the same. Epoxy jobs are too expensive and I use my garage for wood working and no cars. I should las a long time.

As a painter i can say he’s speed is like anyone’s else and important thing when you paint…don’t rush and try ALWAYS to have paint on roller.
So i can use this paint to both garage floor and my driveway? As my driveway is also concrete?
so theres no need to grind the concrete floor to remove stain with that kind of garaged paint.. just asking?

Hey Bill, love your vids, makes jobs simple for the simple office worker to do at home. Question, are you able to use pressure cleaners on the surfaceonce the surface has been painted?
probably not a good idea, power washers can errode the paint away! just stick to normal moping :)

Do you know if the etched concrete waste is safe to dispose of through a floor drain?
It’s fine. What you can and should do is neutralize the acid with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). You should also pressure wash the floor to remove all of it after.
