    I’m figuring out how to utilize my Walker this fall for the first time. You said just weekly maintenance until the final major cleanup at the end. That was sorta my thought as well.👍🏻

      Yes that’s the way we do it now. It makes the final cleanup a lot easier too as there isn’t as many leaves.

    Good morning, Brandon and Ranae! Boy oh boy, you guys really do great work. ARE YOU SURE you don't travel?😆 The properties look beautiful. Your customers must be super happy. Can't wait to see the leaf-vac in action. I hope it works well for your needs and lasts you a good long time! Cheering on Ranae with the coffee killed me!🤣 Hope you have a great weekend! God bless.

    Good stuff buddy. I hope you got a little time off with the family to enjoy a vacation. Time flys in that respect too so be sure to enjoy things other than work. Your lawns look great. What a difference a year makes .

    You could extent the tongue on the trailer to stop it getting into the back of your truck .

      @berndtslawncare4906  10 месяцев назад

      My trailer already has an extended tongue. If I run an extension on the hitch, I will lose my tongue weight capacity and tow capacity. With the mount being notched, it won’t pinch anymore

    Hello Brandon & Ranae; Hope both of you are doing well.
    A Question For You Brandon; Have you encountered any problems with the Kohler mechanical fuel pumps with any of your machines?
    So, My 682 Cub Cadet developed a issue with the engine smothering out in which I could spray flammable liquids into the carburetor and the engine would start and quit. I am entertaining the thought of converting to a pulse type fuel pump because of all of the horror stories that you see regarding the replacement Kohler fuel pumps. I was curious if you had any similar issues with any of the Kohler engines and their fuel delivery. I pulled the carburetor bowl and only found some really fine sediment in the bottom of the carburetor bowl. All of the passages and needle seemed good. I did go ahead and replace the fuel shutoff and rubber grommet in the plastic fuel tank, so that is good which leads me back to the fuel pump. The KT17 engines are kind of a different engine compared to most other engines.

      Sounds like your main jet in the carb is clogged. Put an Amazon special carb on it and it should solve your problem

      @@berndtslawncare4906 Yeah I bought one of the Chinesium carburetors from off of eBay. I noticed that when I pulled the top section off of the fuel pump that the intake check valve was such that I could take my finger and pop it inwards which didn’t seem right to me. The other valve where the fuel goes to the carburetor was tight in the plastic housing. Actually I have 2,of the Kohler replacement fuel pumps and have a block off plate that I drilled and threaded for a 1/8-27 NPT fuel fitting for a pulse type fuel pump. Because of the weirdness of the Kohler KT17 engines, I had to pull the engine tins just to be able to get to where the fuel pump was mounted - They are a different animal to put it nicely. I was really kind of shocked to see how much crud and grass clippings had accumulated in which the engine always seemed to run pretty hot. Luckily the bolts all came out easily with none of them snapping which was my biggest concern. To be honest, I really miss having that tractor in action because of the way that the IH mower deck grinds up leaves. I really like to use the Cubs for mowing my roadside and the section across the creek because of the heavy mower deck and blades.

      Mechanical fuel pumps don’t fail often. Most fuel delivery issues I’ve seen have been either a vacuum leak or a carburetor that’s dirty.

      @@berndtslawncare4906 The Cub probably needed some TLC anyway, I bought a 1710 Cub earlier this year that is virtually identical to my 682 that I am working on the electrical system but overall is a very nice looking tractor. I put some 26 x 12.00-12 ag tires on the back of the tractor and it looks pretty mean.

    I missed an episode. When did you put the gas gauge in the pink panther ?
