I know a specific customer where I'll be using these steps. They want some SEO help but they are in a construction related business where there is a high churn. Every home needs the product but the better the product works, the less demand there is. So you have to find where your customers are at when they are ready for the product. Hey Brian, I remember back in the day I used to really struggle with keyword research. Just targeting everything that got a ton of searches, but didn’t ever rank for it because the keywords were way to hard to rank for. I always like to do lower competition keywords that at least get 100 unique visitors per day. Obviously, the more the better. Newer sites that you create you need to find low competition keywords and start to dominate those before targeting higher competition keywords. I do like your ideas for finding keywords other people don’t think of. I like to put videos on the top of my pages too. This helps keep people on the page for a lot longer which Google loves.

Brain, Great video! But I am confused at one place. You mentioned about checking the commercial intent of a keyword. Higher the commercial intent, more valuable it is. Lets take I found 10 keywords with commercial intent starting from $0 to $200 (random figures). I have 3 questions: Q. Do I select a keyword with highest commercial intent - $300 ? A. If I go with $300 keyword, as the commercial intent is higher, there will definitely be other great companies ranking for same keyword with great SEO experts working on it. And! it will take way long time for my page to out rank those companies. Do you still suggest to just go with the keyword? Or Q. Do I type every keyword (the top 10 found earlier) in google, check top ranking websites, see if I can improve content 10 times and then select the keyword? if not move to the next keyword and repeat the process. Or Q. Is there a relation that I need to find between commercial intent VS monthly search volume? And, do not bother about each keyword research in google like my previous question. I appreciate your videos and I subscribed to your channel after watching just one video! You have a great video editor !!

Good strategy. We also use keywords from Search Analytics - remember 30% of search queries are new everyday - re-optimizing helps expand the keyword landscape.

You convinced me. and thanks for sharing this. now maybe i can share one with you to! try twitter lite. on chrome you can add the twitter lite plugin, and then once logged into it (webapp) you type your keyword, hit return, the result is all people's messages that are talking about your keywords that you searched for, then reply to their topic without sending link to your shop, but make it the best answer they required, they will check out your twitter profile, and find your shoplink in your profile, that way you are not considered to spam either

I'm going to use this for my New RUclips Channel and website in order to be the first to successfully launch into a $900 Billion Opportunity that feels daunting sometimes... Step 4 - commercial intent. This one was new for me. I never thought about looking at the price in google AdWords. It's good that I use Google AdWords and I will have more detailed view of my keywords. Thank you.

This is the kind of arti icle i wanted to find.. so i guess your strategy is working. You convinced me. and thanks for sharing this. now maybe i can share one with you to! try twitter lite. on chrome you can add the twitter lite plugin, and then once logged into it (webapp) you type your keyword, hit return, the result is all people's messages that are talking about your keywords that you searched for, then reply to their topic without sending link to your shop, but make it the best answer they required, they will check out your twitter profile, and find your shoplink in your profile, that way you are not considered to spam either
