With the (Winds of Wisdom) 50% increased XP buff going on right now until the 18th of November (second phase of the Dragonflight Pre-patch), a lot of people will be leveling up their characters. I've been leveling up a lot, not only when this buff was active but also before that. Every character got to level 60 under 10 hours! I wanted to share the way I've been leveling up all of my characters with you. I hope this fast and easy 1-60 leveling guide video helps you out a lot!

For new players that can’t fly, I recommend that they level in Bastion and Maldraxxus first. These zones are easiest to get around on ground mounts because they are relatively flat. Do as much Torghast as you can tolerate and then do Ardenweald and Revendreth last. They are the most difficult to navigate on a ground mount. Get into the Maw as soon as you can and do those quests as soon as you can. That will lead to getting your flying.
If you're a new player you only have to do the BfA quests until you unlock the portals back home and the mission board, then you're able to go back and talk to Chromie and turn on timewalking.

i know its not gonna be super relevant in dragonflight but when you get to oribos before you do your first zone in shadowlands you can buy the item that boosts renown to 60 from the vendor next to the flight master in oribos too. can boost all your covenants to 60 for 2k gold and you get the bonuses from having that renown too while levelling. again, not super relevant but i guess the stamina increase from the renown could be useful. but a great and interesting guide and better than the way ive been levelling all my alts!
Oh yeah you're absolutely right about the renown thingy, while we are still stuck in SL it's a easy way to boost your renown. I completely forgot to mention that!

Great guide! Been using it since I got back into WoW like 2 weeks ago. Might be a dumb question, but when you mention after hitting lvl 20 and go to the areas to quest, do you do that in present time or stay in the Cataclysm Chromie time zone from lvls 10 - 20? Thank you!
Thank you x) I start Cata chromie time at lvl 10 so I can queue for classic dungeons till lvl 20. After you reach 20 you can go to any of those questing zones since you'll already have activated the Cata chromie timeline :)

I enjoyed lvling in shadownlands, now i will do it in BFA content, ima 12 yers out so.. i love seing how complex the environment has become.. also ive running mythics 12+ so, all good in this expansion so far... further i will unloack some nasty new models and lvl as well.. it became easier and funnier.
do i need to do the campain if its the first time im levling from 50-60 cus i feel like im to high level for the zone im in, because of all the rested xp

one question please so we are going questing at all the the zones you suggest while wer are in the cataclyst timeline ? why i dont understand is that cataclysm in one of the least fast campaings to lvl up a character...
Cataclysm also allows you to quest in the vanilla zones and they are by far the zones you will lvl up the fastest. Especially with flying that's why :) Plus whenever phase 2 launches you will be able to go from 50-60 in 1.5 hours by just doing for e.x. just silverpine forest on Horde.
I don't see any Chromie on my map, is it because I don't have a lvl50+ character ?
Doing the maw intro is worth it on mobile classes, about 1.5 levels there and can be done quickly, before heading into threads of fate
Lots of RP sequences on the maw intro tho

Last time i leveled a toon up. the gear i was getting was so much better than looms
Pre patch is out but for some reason chromie time forces me to return to the present and i am not able to "scale" quests and mobs from older expansions 50+. Am i doing something wrong?
You can’t do chromie 50+ until November 15. Until then you’re stuck in SL
Currently we are in phase 1 of the pre patch, when phase 2 starts (nov 15) we will be able to use chromie time from 50-60. It's stupid :/
How did you level 35-40 in Westfall if the Quests are Marked for level 15-30. This quests give us no exp at all, did we miss something?
Exactly, you have to select the cata timeline at chromie.
@@ItsDanta Chromie Time scales every mob and quest no matter what expansion you choose. The chosen expansion would only determine your starting quest and LFD dungeons. You can get starting quests from other expansions at the Hero Board. For example, I can select "The Iron Horde" (WoD) at Chromie then pick up "The Broken Shore" (Legion) from the Hero Board.
EDIT: You can actually choose "The Iron Horde" first and still have access to the starting quests at the Cata zones (they are marked with a "!" on the world map). No need to switch. :)

It's called all the things, as the name suggests it basically shows you every item you're still missing :)
did you bring the new version soon tomorrow the chromie time will be upgrades ! would be nice to have another guide by then

Haha well if you don't have the gold to upgrade to rank 4 it's not a big deal. You just have to wear the quest armor eventually which ain't that bad :)

Once you hit 51. Heirlooms go up to 98 ilvl. Still better then buying gear.
Also don't specific queue. You're losing like 81k exp lol. Which is the amount of exp you get when you hand in the quest. Just pick up all dungeon quests before you start queuing.
They do go up to 98 ilvl but the upgrade for one heirloom to 5/5 costs as much if not more than when you just buy a full set of greens from the AH, atleast that's how it is on my realm. If you don't specific queue you still have a chance of getting the dungeon you don't want like for e.x plaguefall or the same dungeon you did previously. Yeah sure the dungeon reward for doing a random dungeon gives 81k but that's only worth it if you have a group that can rush the dungeon fast and if the RNG gods are with you and actually give you the dungeon you need. Otherwise it's still faster to queue specific so you can actually get the dungeon quest asap and continue with the bonus objectives/quests.
But there are only like 2 Dungeon Quests when you enter the Shadowlands right? At least for me theres just a quest for mist of tirna and necrotic wake available. I always get unlucky when queuing random and get the dungeons i dont need
