Middleton case: Why don’t people ever make arrangements for their animals, businesses, and children BEFORE sentencing when they know that their charges could carry jail time??? It’s just ridiculous.

Because the mechanism that enables them to commit the crime is the same mechanism that gives them a sense of entitlement that they will not be punished for said crime. It's a paradoxical brain state that is very self damaging.

As the survivor of a head on collision involving fatalities, (Driver of the other vehicle was impaired) Judge Middleton is now my favorite on LTWM!
I went back and watched that portion over a couple more times. Perhaps if more judges were like our good judge, we wouldn't be dealing with the after affects 40+ years later, and three young individuals wouldn't have died that fateful night.

I like how she complains about how much of an inconvenience it is for her to have to go to jail for 30 days immediately instead of on her own time. How do you think the couple feels that got hit? They were just driving around town minding their own business and then they got hit, I would assume ruining or totaling their vehicle. I'm sure that was an inconvenience to them but I don't hear you say anything about that? 🤦‍♀️ How selfish...

Nice assortment of videos. For Jeramy Dewitt when they said “no bond” did that mean he didn’t need to post a bond or he wouldn’t get out? I did wish judge Middleton gave that woman 90 days instead of just threatening her. Her actions certainly deserve it. And that last guy in a Walmart parking lot, wtf. I’m sure he’ll get off early, probably in the court parking lot on the way out.

Hi there! Florida res here, when they say bond none or no bond its a no bond hold. So they can't get out until they are seen by their actual judge or have an Arthur hearing held to try to get the judge to set a bond. Hope this helps! 😊

Finally, he wasn't allowed to get out. They repeatedly let this child assautttler out of jail. Repeatedly, even when he violated that, he was arrested for repeat offenses that occurred after the original arraignment for the first one.
