- My son Ruhaan attempted the 'matla' (opening couplet) of this ghazal when he was eight years old. I have used that couplet sung by him to open this ghazal. I thought it was going well with the thought of the matla. Have attempted almost all couplets barring one. Please do not judge this ghazal from the perspective of music/singing talent as am no singer. It is only for my love for ghazals and Mirza Ghalib that I wanted to sing it. Hope you enjoy all couplets.
After Jagjit Singh and Chitra Singh if somebody has sang the Mirza Ghalib beautifully then it's your name which comes to my mind. Please keep singing Ghalib. Keep Ghalib alive.

I'm surprised & speechless! I thought Jagjit singh Ji is the ultimate height of Mirza Ghalib. No other voice sooth my ear & touch my heart after hearing him. I believe Mirza Ghalib & Jagjit singh is a heavenly duo.
But now I think I got another artiste from whom I would love to hear Ghalib.

Most of the time I listen to bagi chaye atfal hai dunya mere aage. Immortal words and the presentation matches the writer's intensity.

आपने एक बार फिर से कमाल का गाया । मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब की ये बहुत खूबसूरत गज़ल है लेकिन उतनी ही मुश्किल । आप से पहले ये ग़ज़ल मैंने जगजीत सिंह जी और मुहम्मद रफ़ी साहब की आवाज़ में ही सुनी है पर सिर्फ आपने ही मुकम्मल ग़ज़ल गाई है । आपने ऊर्दू के मुश्किल अलफाज़ की अदायगी बहुत ही खूबसूरती और सहजता से की है जिसके लिए आप बधाई की हकदार हैं ।

वाह अदभुत। मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब को जगजीत सिंह जी के बाद अगर कोई जिंदा कर पाया है तो वो आप हैं। सच में तारीफ़ को शब्द नहीं मिल पा रहे हैं। मिर्जा ग़ालिब को जगजीत जी के बाद आप ही स्वर दे पाए हैं। धन्य है आप धन्य है आपकी आवाज। सच में ग़ालिब भी जन्नत में आपको सुनकर सोच रहे होंगे कि मैं सही लोगों के हाथों अपनी ग़ज़ल सौंप कर आया हूँ। वाह

I have heard more than 500 times this Ghazal. I mean especially this ghazal from yout voice. It is absolutely soul touching. It directly appeals to heart and a person becomes with one's own ups amd down of life. You deed great job. It's been great to listen from your voice many other's the way you did this. I wish you sing pyaar bhare ye do sharmi le nain... Which mehdi hasan. Sahb has sung. Eevry night before sleep i listen this. Even while driving i keep this on continue for hours a dhours i keep listening. Still it doesn't has lost it's charm. Lots of regards and prayers madam! You are such blessed One with divinity in your voice.
