❤🎉Awww what precious dumplings lol, I love how they step over or around the logs. So in this case the remote control wasn't losing battery power but had too MUCH energy..😅. Thanks for sharing and stay warm 🙂🐎🐎❤️🌳🇺🇲
.liked learning about those extra verbal commands, just enough to get the boys turning, going forward, backing up..love the 'feeling' of watching the boys 🐎🐎s in action..the three of you are amazing!!
I am from Germany (with me is my beloved 17year old Percheron). NEVER have I seen such a great and trusting community of logging-team like yours❤👍😊 And: you are the first logger I've ever seen who doesn't use curbs and does not pull on the leashes - there is some kind of magic connection between the three of you (and the others). Stay warm and healthy and always have good times🍀🍀🍀 I am going to subscribe you now...
Follow alotta teamsters, but you've moved to the top of my notifications now. Exquisite horsemanship, sir. Thx for taking us along before you need to collect them back up.
I've worked like that, way back when but it's always a very fine line. I watched your video about your friend using tight lines. I doubt his team could do this for him. Voice with rein to reinforce voice when needed, always going for lighter touch. Love what you're doing
I caught a video by chance, of him just talking to the horses and they simply did as he asked. The training is impressive, but far more fascinating to me is just how connected he is with the horses. There was no dominance or pushing, I get the impression this is done for love. His demeaner is just so calm, as are the horses, and yet there they are working hard. This is beyond 'whisperer', more of a telepathic link. I can't stop watching how they work together. Note there are no sophisticated cuts, it is just recording as the magic happens. Hard subscribe.
Gorgeous, healthy, hardworking and strong boys. Clever and obedient. They follow your instructions step by step. So impressive! Love them so much. Wish you all the best❤
In the Czech Republic, 1 hour's drive from my place in East Germany, a 24 yr old girl does your job with such horses in the woods, after the sad death of her dad in a wood accident.
They are a great team of horses! You are a great teacher! Please don't listen to the BS by people that are not horse owners like you and me! I so enjoy watching your team work and hearing your stories!! Keep up the awesome work!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Don't ever take mean coents by haters to heart. They are unhappy with themselves and hate on other people to feel better. They live pretty sad lives 😞 😔 😕 😢
Your horses certainly can, especially once they have walked down or up the same trail several times. In my young times when I still lived in Bavaria I logged with a single horse. Oftentimes it was possible to send the horse with a log back to the wagon all by herself( I had a mare then) where the other horse stood, and then when I caught up and unhooked from the log send her right back to the site where we got the logs from.
Such smart hoof puppies. I had a working dog, but never have seen working horses. I’d love to see you demonstrate the range of their voice commands. I only know that “whoa” and “gee” are probably not the names of your horses, lol.
Amazing team work a pleasure to watch. Going down hill with a log - looks pretty scary. The team make it look so easy. What precautions do you take for a runaway log ?
The team was doing great on remote control while you were close. When they got a farther distance from you, leaves were making too much noise for them to hear over.
@downthetraillogging sometimes. But I've noticed that animals (and people too) who are doing what they love get hard of hearing in one ear and deaf in t'other. 😂😂😂❤ .
Sp funny i asked about the retirement plans and then saw you had already made a video. I hope 🙏 they stay with you as lawn ornaments, because at least you will know they won't end up in a kill pen. 😊😊😊
GREAT HORSEMAN TRAIN THEIR HORSES SO WELL, THEY CAN DO IT BITLESS. HAVE WATCHED A ROPER PULL THE HEADSTALL OFF AND ROPE AND TIE A CALF, HAVE WATCHED A CUTTING HORSEMAN , PULL HIS BRIDLE OFF AND CUT CATTLE, YUP A HORSEWOMEN CAN PULL HER BRIDLE OFF AND GO JUMP ,AROUND OF FENCES. YOUNG MAN U ARE A HORSEMAN, YOUR TEAM IS BEAUTIFUL AND LISTENED WELL AND THAN THE HORSEMAN IN U SAID ENOUGH BEFORE U WOULD LOSE THEM. WELL DONE. YOU THREE!!! Susan
I don’t know if you have addressed this already but, Question: what are your thoughts about mares versus geldings in teams and doing this type of work? Do you notice any difference? Have you any preference?
Question answered. They're voice activated! Love it!
Thank you

👏 very impressive. I get the feeling the boys would prefer the reins. Less of a mental load for them. I'd prefer driving them, we're a team!
