when you give your life to Jesus once you’re saved and repent of your sins it’s almost like a high, you’ll feel it and he talks to you in every decision and thought. You were once blind but now you see.
I have couple questions for you : 1) did you repented from all your sins ? 2) where in the NT it says surrendered to Christ ? It only says believe in the finished work of Christ 3) Lordship salvation is another way backloading the gospel with works 4) Salvation is attained by only believing and not by works Works is for rewards Please do not mix works + free grace for salvation
Just read the comments.. even better, read the book of Galatians. The meaning is clear. Paul is talking to believers and warning them that they will fall away if they seek justification through following the law. We know this from the passage. The people Paul is addressing : 1. Have been set free by the Messiah (v1). 2. These people were Gentiles because they have not been circumcised. Can someone who does not know Jesus be set free by Him?
Did anyone post Mat 25 as an argument for you to respond? If not: Jesus talks about 5 wise 5 foolish virgins.. The virgins represent believers. 5 of them weren't ready for when Christ returned and did not make it and Christ said I know you not.

Luke 13 and other passages shows God gives plenty of time to repent and comes after us and helps us. You dont lose your salvation by sturggling warring with your flesh and unintentionally falling to temptation or having secret sin. Salvation is a matter of the heart. God sees our heart, our faith. Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, WHOSOEVER OF YOU ARE JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW; ye are fallen from grace. (King James Bible) Galatians 5:4 You who are TRYING TO BE JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW have been severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. (Berean Study Bible) Galatians 5:4 For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God BY KEEPING THE LAW, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. (New Living Translation) Paul was addressing believers who had been JUSTIFIED BY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST but false teachers came into their midst to tell them they must obey the Jew's law of circumcision to be saved. The whole of Paul's epistle to the Galatians was about chastising them for having begun in the Spirit, they are trying to be made perfect by the flesh (Gal 3:3). So the theme in this epistle is that NO MAN CAN BE JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW (ie Works of the flesh) because it is BY FAITH IN CHRIST THROUGH GRACE. Hence, if you have been Justified by Faith through Grace and you now want to earn Justification through the Law, You have fallen from Grace and Christ profits you nothing (verse 2) and that's what this verse is talking about. Galatians is one whole long letter. Read it like that and you'll see the big picture. The issue here is that no single verse can be isolated.
Why would one seek justification if one is already justified If you went to court for a crime and you are set free, would the same person go to next state or province court for the same crime to get justified again ? Think about it The only possibility that person goes to another court because that person was under the impression that he never got justified by the earlier verdict Does that make sense

@@nonamecanada5437 Remember when Paul and the Apostles were debating whether the gentiles who have believed in Jesus through Paul's teaching should be circumcised? And they agreed that the gentiles should not be circumcised. (Acts 15). In Acts 15:1, certain men came to the gentiles and started teaching that only through the circumcision after the manner of Moses can save one. So Paul and Barnabas brought the matter to the church and they arrived at a conclusion of the whole matter. Read Acts 15 and you will that. This was what was happening in Galatia where some Jews came and were teaching that only through circumcision after the manner of Moses can they be justified and not by faith only. I believe Acts 15:1-2 may have been happening in Galatia (just my educated guess). Hope this makes it clearer for you.
Apostle Paul IS speaking to believers in Galatians 5. The first verse identifies the body of Christ! Galatians 5:1 (KJV) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Falling from grace doesn't mean losing salvation, it means trying to merit salvation through human performance, which is unprofitable for spiritual growth and getting rewards at the judgement seat of Christ. You can never lose your salvation under any circumstances so why are you trying to 'stay saved'?

I am surprised that people are using Galatian as salvation lost But in fact it’s a book of salvation assurance Read along with me and reason with me Galatians 4:21-31 .....verse 28 :- Now you,* my friends,* are children of the promise, like Isaac. 29But just as at that time the child who was born according to the flesh persecuted the child who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also. 30But what does the scripture say? ‘Drive out the slave and her child; for the child of the slave will not share the inheritance with the child of the free woman.’ 31So then, friends,* we are children, not of the slave but of the free woman.....................Here Paul is saying Abraham cast out the slave child..... why because slave child always persecute the promise child..........why Pauls is highlighting this here because if a person is under law it will always question the promise of God which is eternal security...... And according to Paul a believer should NEVER allow anything ( Doubts or problem's ) in his earthly life to be questioned concerning the promise of God which is our eternal security in Christ
Who in their right mind would want to live under the Mosaic Law again ie., "justified by works"?! Following Jesus Christ and "keeping" His commands IS NOT WORKS!
He is talking to those that profess to be Christians but have not fully accepted Christ. If a person is contemplating on getting circumcised (imagine getting your skin cut off is pretty serious decision) as a means of being justified has not fully put his faith in Christ.
This is false. Galatians teaches that we can lose our salvation because we cannot be saved by another gospel. If we are falling from grace, we cannot be saved because it is by grace we are saved through faith. We are not saved by works but if we pursue a different gospel we cannot be saved.

Or Hebrew 10: 26-2926For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
OSAS is the correct doctrine In the context of Gal 5:4 please go along with the below reasoning : Why would one seek justification if one is already justified If you went to court for a crime and you are set free, would the same person go to next state or province court for the same crime to get justified again ? Think about it The only possibility that person goes to another court because that person was under the impression that he never got justified by the earlier verdict Does that make sense
If one is a true believer, he or she must heed the admonishments of the Holy Scripture: study to show yourself approved. There are no Spiritual intellectuals. God will not give any of us more than He will give others. Believe that the Holy Scripture is true and infallible: believe that do not need anyone to teach you; believe that the Holy Spirit will teach you; believe that there is no greater teacher than t he Holy Spirit. I believe in The teaching of the Holy Spirit and what it teaches about the elect. We have been forewarned that in the last days men of intelligence and charisma will fool the elected.....IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. It is impossible the a believer who has been taught by the Holy Spirit.

Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Meaning you have fallen from that promise. What a shame for people to turn back the legalism, and the old way, when we have freedom, in Christ. Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. It is that faith that sets us free. When we believe and when we see, for we walk be faith not by sight. We know what is written in Gods word is true, when you rightly teach it and understand it. Many read the books of Paul and don't Understand.. Sadly many think they don't have to do or keep the law of God.. This is a Lie from the forked tongue of Satan. For Jesus himself lived a life following the law of God. Jesus kept and did the whole of the law ie 10 Commandments.. Jesus preached the Law and he kept the law. Jesus never and i mean never said do not keep the law.. For the law is Spiritual.. Jesus is the living embodiment of the law..Which means friend What Paul was saying is this That when one is truly in Jesus one will keep the law..One will follow Jesus and do as Jesus.. One will keep the 7th day Sabbath as Jesus.. For breaking the law is Sin said God. Faith is Jesus.. The Word is Jesus.. For what so ever is not of Faith is Sin said God. Grace is Jesus the Grace we don't deserve.. True Circumcision is of the heart..the law in the heart..Jesus in the heart. Thus with Jesus in the heart ..One will keep and do the Law.. Paul himself was a Jew and kept the law okay Only one who has the Spirit keep the correct way of Keeping and doing the law 10 Commandments in Jesus.. Only having Jesus in the heart can one keep the Law.. That is why the jews was never able to keep the law.. Because Jesus was never in their heart.. SEE Although they thought to themselves that they kept the law they did not.. For Jesus told them so.. Jesus said you keep the Commandments of Men and break the Law of God .. No You not saved.. For breaking the law is Sin Jesus told the jews YOU THINK YOU HAVE LIFE!! Which means they were lying to themselves..For they were not keeping or doing the law..SEE Jesus is God ..the same that landed on Mount Horeb and gave Moses the 10 Commandments..

The argument he uses about the playoffs in invalid. In his example he says they are in playoff CONTENTION. That is totally different than actually being in the playoffs. That argument actually goes against you because if the Cowboys made the playoffs and lost then they would have "fallen" out of the playoffs. You can also fall out of contention and then get back in contention. Very bad argument. Hope you find the truth one day. God Bless
This explanation is abit of a con. Why wasn't verse 1 addressed. It's very clear Paul is referring to people who have been set free by the Messiah. Gal 5:1 1 The Messiah has set us free so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom. So keep on standing firm in it, and stop putting yourselves under the yoke of slavery again. See the words : "set us free"; "keep on standing"; "stop putting yourselves under the yoke of slavery".. All this makes it clear Paul is talking to believers and warning them about the consequences of seeking justification through the law. The very act of seeking justification through faith is a denial of their just status through faith in Jesus. This is why they fall away from grace.
Today when we preach OSAS we are slandered same thing happened to Paul 2000 year ago Romans 3:8 :- And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, “The more we sin, the better it is!” Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.....................notice Apostle Paul was also got slandered that Paul encourage sining as in those days by the legalist. Every thought this something I never heard somebody say. But I live with it everyday.
I have couple questions for you :
1) did you repented from all your sins ?
2) where in the NT it says surrendered to Christ ? It only says believe in the finished work of Christ
3) Lordship salvation is another way backloading the gospel with works
4) Salvation is attained by only believing and not by works
Works is for rewards
Please do not mix works + free grace for salvation
He died for those who OBEY him Hebrews 5:9. Also, belief is a work itself. John 6:28-29
Repent of your sins is a works based salvation your only saved by grace through faith alone

We know this from the passage. The people Paul is addressing :

2. These people were Gentiles because they have not been circumcised. V2

Galatians 5:4 You who are TRYING TO BE JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW have been severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. (Berean Study Bible)
Galatians 5:4 For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God BY KEEPING THE LAW, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. (New Living Translation)
Paul was addressing believers who had been JUSTIFIED BY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST but false teachers came into their midst to tell them they must obey the Jew's law of circumcision to be saved.

In Acts 15:1, certain men came to the gentiles and started teaching that only through the circumcision after the manner of Moses can save one. So Paul and Barnabas brought the matter to the church and they arrived at a conclusion of the whole matter. Read Acts 15 and you will that. God is a maker of all languages..
Thus reading the KING JAMES BIBLE IS Not Bad..
For it is the Only Book that has the Spirit..Ok

What Law are you speaking off?
God only has One law..ie 10 Commandments including his 7th day Sabbath
God never said it was abolished..In fact Paul said it cannot be annulled..
And God tells Us the Law is Spiritual..So Sir..Can any man do away with the law of God that is Spiritual?
No!!
Whether you choose to do and keep the 10 Commandments or not means nothing..
The law of God is EVERLASTING!!
Jesus said if any man speak not keeping the law is a Liar..
Jesus said FOLLOW ME!!
Jesus not only kept the law he preached it and kept it..
Jesus was a 7th day Sabbath keeper Sir..
Jesus is God the same who gave Moses the law on Mount Horeb for the jews to do and keep..
God laws is Holy..It cannot be done away..Sir..
God tells Us the law shows all mankind what is Sin
So if there is no law you then saying there is no Sin
Which mean you saying Jesus died for nothing..In vain he died..For what then are we too repent to Jesus for then if there be no Sin?
For by the knowledge of the law is the knowledge of Sin.
So nobody can or will sin after they are saved? Is it OK to rape and murder?
Let’s NOT talk about the sins which you and me do not commit
Let’s talk about the sins that you and me potentially can do
For example the good things that we supposed to do and which we didn’t do
According to Law this person going to hell for this sin alone !
Now notice the above sin and the sins that you mentioned both carry the same penalty
Did you got my point
By the deeds of Law no flesh is justified
If a believer does sin God will punish him same way a father chasten a child
Some time God even takes the believer’s life from the earth
Paul says for this reason
For there is no partiality between unbelievers and believers
False. Gal 1:6 clearly indicates this folks had the true gospel but deserted it for another (false) gospel.
So if u belive in god , we need to obey him also, that its how it goes right? U can go to the streets in weekend and see drubnk christians crosses in their necks saying, well I been in church at Sundays and so I be saved, I may drink here and there but I will repent so iam good, but where that attitude will take us? Heaven?
I always have a problem when Christians speak of being qualified by works. They miss the point that the Spirit of God is the one who does the works in us. No human works could please God anyway.
Am Jesus did Good Works..
Many mis understand the holy Word..
And think to themselves you must not do Works..
Jesus did himself Good Works..
James said Not off Works is One saved.BUT!!!
By Your Works ie Good Works One is shown to be a Child of God..A true disciple of Jesus..
For said Jesus by their fruits you shall know them..
Thus..One cannot earn salvation through good works Yes that is correct..
But if One is in Jesus One will do Good Works..
For even Jesus himself said I BRING WITH ME GIFTS FOR THEM WHO DO..Ie Good Works
The Spirit of God only helps One DO Good Works..Thus if One is not doing any Good works you show Yourself to be a Liar- a Fraud..Not a true disciple of Jesus.

We don't need to know Greek & Hebrew to know this is against scripture,
Matt 7:21-23Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’…
Philippians 2:12
Therefore my beloved, just as always you have obeyed, not only as in my presence but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
1st Corinthians 9:24-27 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.25 And every man that striveth for mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
We will make mistakes but we must repent and press on toward God and to that which is right. Once saved always saved gives people the licence to just live anyhow and with anyone and still get into heaven, no way no how is this accurate.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?........................notice here the people who were UNSAVED because they NEVER said " They trusted in Christ for salvation " but rather say said "done many wonderful works" so they trusted in there works for salvation Or they have added works with faith in Christ for salvation
The big question a person needs to self access himself that how can he / she can be sure that one is not trusting works Or not adding the works with faith ( Front loading & back loading of Gospel ) by believer by believing " Once saved is always saved" here in this statement a believer has excluded any kind of works for salvation and he is totally dependent on Christ for salvation no matter what.......
In Matt 7 , if you notice carefully Jesus is saying in verse 23 “ I never knew you”. Notice here Jesus is NOT saying “I knew you once but now I do not know you”. He is very clear that they were never been saved to begin with. To prove my point Judas Iscariot he did signs , wonder & miracle with 12 disciples but he never believed in Christ. Yes you can do signs wonder & miracle without believing in Christ as Judas Iscariot is the perfect example.(Please read John 6: 64 & 70-71 )
Bible says Satan will do more signs wonder & miracles in the end time (2 THESSALONIANS 2:9)
So if one is basing the belief system based on signs , wonder , miracle , deliverance & wealth he or she will be deceived ?
What is the meaning of believing in Christ . It means Jesus has paid for my sins and he has saved me from the eternal condemnation at the very point when I put his trust in Christ. (ie Salvation cannot be lost). There nothing called progressive salvation . As salvation is a one-time deal done by God. for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable Romans 11:29
But you will notice no one will believe that way (ie Salvation cannot be lost) and that is why Jesus said Matt 7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it”
Amen
The word "Severed" isnt even in the KJV - 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Its been added in to modern translation to try make people think they have to drink the water that Jesus gives us multiple times not just the one time he said for us to never thirst again/

@@adriaanj1808 Because Hebrews explains that there if we receive knowledge of the truth but deliberately are sinning against it, there is no salvation for us. Why would one seek justification if one is already justified
If you went to court for a crime and you are set free, would the same person go to next state or province court for the same crime to get justified again ?
Think about it
The only possibility that person goes to another court because that person was under the impression that he never got justified by the earlier verdict

Jesus is the living embodiment of the law..Which means friend
What Paul was saying is this
That when one is truly in Jesus one will keep the law..One will follow Jesus and do as Jesus..
One will keep the 7th day Sabbath as Jesus..
For breaking the law is Sin said God.
Faith is Jesus..

Paul is more consered about people teacjing others the true gospel
